I wish you would not assume just because he is popular, he can't act. The reason he got popular is because he…
totally agree with you on his excellent performance in strong girl....but his performance in any other drama is no less.... :-) they suit the characters, hence the popularity....while i agree his beauty is overwhelming.....i believe the sincerity of his performance also comes across....even in scenes where he is not made to look "specially" beautiful ;-)
what do you guys think about Byeon Woo Seok's acting? I definitely loved his performance as Sun jae and Ryu si…
i think....and pls just my opinion....but i think the kind of restraint bws has shown in portraying is a more difficult kind of acting than actually performing an emotion explicitly using all the available tools...in perfect crown bws performs only with his eyes and the stillness of his body....if yo observe, you will notice the difference in the looks he gives his aide, his nanny/court lady, the pm, the qm, the child-king and the villain - jinmu/qm's father....he's done a really fantastic job of conveying the character's feeling with bare minimum physicality... :-)
while the waiting is hard.....i'm looking forward to revenge satisfaction and lots of butterflies over the next two days :-D somebody's gonna get hurt and somebody's gonna get lllllloooooovveeeee :-D
rewatching episode 3 ;-) i realised that the pm character was probably intended to be the wildcard i.e. the character that could go any which way.....so probably all of the below are true about the pm: 1) probably has some revenge-plot bcos of his father and while he is mostly sure it is due to jinmu, he has no proof, which he can get only from jinmu; for which he may be using the qm 2) bcos of his obsession with huiju, he now has a grudge against i-an, who was previously his friend....so while he will try to sabotage the marriage, he wont hurt the monarchy but he probably won't mind hurting i-an a little for the pain he believes i-an has caused him 3) in principle, he is a good person so he won't cross the line but only he knows where the line is.....this is also probably how i-an sees him....so while he believes that the pm is a good person, he is not sure how far he will go for what cause....which makes him uneasy about the pm so the way i see this going is that the pm is on nobody else's side except his own....so he is playing with jinmu to get evidence about his dad's death.....he is playing on i-an's side to protect the monarchy and possibly the little boy......he is playing on huiju's side to make her like him but finally, i think he will give in to her decision, like he has always done.... so while he is making everyone mistrust him, in the end he will be the one who ties all the loose ends nicely....he'll kick jinmu's ass, save the little boy and his mother, put i-an on the throne and help him abolish the monarchy and free huiju after she has gotten the benefit of being the queen.....YAY... :-D
The difference is in the storytelling. There are various kinds of genres, but it comes down to the good writing.…
totally agree with you on that....romcoms are totally fantasies.... :-) but as such also the escape i need at the end of a hard day....that's all i'm saying....
i really want a historical k-drama like blood of youth with lee jun young, lee chae min, moon sang min, lee jae wook and byeon woo soek :-D yummmmmmmmy
secretary loveline is so forced bro plsss they're besties look at them.... unncessary screentime given there for…
huh?!?! isn't it one of most low-key easy-going romantic development as second leads go? he keeps throwing hints and her and she keeps picking them and storing them....then pulling them out later....he is such a drama-queen and she is a total cool-cat....i love the pairing and also the romantic growth....it is almost like they put it there so show how love can grow when circumstances don't play a giant role in life...like it does for yi yan and huiju
Man i love this drama so much nothing comes close maybe i am past point where bubbly, cute romance won't sit much…
i started it and then stopped, deciding to binge because it was very hard to take, the pain and angst and all those ssssooooo many negative feelings :-( after a hard day at life, it is very painful to watch a drama like this....just saying
1) probably has some revenge-plot bcos of his father and while he is mostly sure it is due to jinmu, he has no proof, which he can get only from jinmu; for which he may be using the qm
2) bcos of his obsession with huiju, he now has a grudge against i-an, who was previously his friend....so while he will try to sabotage the marriage, he wont hurt the monarchy but he probably won't mind hurting i-an a little for the pain he believes i-an has caused him
3) in principle, he is a good person so he won't cross the line but only he knows where the line is.....this is also probably how i-an sees him....so while he believes that the pm is a good person, he is not sure how far he will go for what cause....which makes him uneasy about the pm
so the way i see this going is that the pm is on nobody else's side except his own....so he is playing with jinmu to get evidence about his dad's death.....he is playing on i-an's side to protect the monarchy and possibly the little boy......he is playing on huiju's side to make her like him but finally, i think he will give in to her decision, like he has always done....
so while he is making everyone mistrust him, in the end he will be the one who ties all the loose ends nicely....he'll kick jinmu's ass, save the little boy and his mother, put i-an on the throne and help him abolish the monarchy and free huiju after she has gotten the benefit of being the queen.....YAY... :-D
