ikr.....the duet they sang for the mini palette was so beautiful.....bws has a lovely voice and he is very sincere in his singing so the emotions get conveyed...but i think he feel a little diffident because maybe he is not trained....
rewatching (i know!!! the entire weekend is PC-ONLY!!!) i realised so much about yi-an in just that first conversation..... 1) his entire life he was looking for "his person" who would stay on his side voluntarily unlike choi hyeon who is pretty much there bcos there is nowhere else to go a) his dad was a total wash-out b) brother was too much of a coward c) sis-in-law betrayed his friendship despite him trying to be always of help to her d) the pm who he thought was his friend and someone he looked up to as a smart person - turned out to be petty rival so when he finally got huiju on his side, who was his crush and who he never expected to have on his side, he probably felt it was destined and couldn't be happier and he thought if he gave her his heart unconditionally, she would be that person so when he was waiting for her to enter, in the first scene, you can see that he is expecting that she will say something that will be to her benefit but hoping that she atleast honours the contract and their conversation before marriage and says "lets fight it together"....so when she hugs him, he is so happy becos he thought he was going to get his wish....and then she drops the effing bombshell....that's why he was so disappointed....yes, that was disappointment bcos he thought atleast as the businesswomen she identifies as she will fight with him....instead she makes herself look selfish (of course, for the dumb "his sake" but still) and disappoints him..... and then the next day in the council hall after she starts talking, he realises that she loves him but does not trust him enough to fight with....THATS when he feels hurt....like she looked down on their love and when with outside advice.... hhhhhaaaaaa.....so glad to get that off my chest :-D
