Seems like a drama will actually deepen the movie/original source material. If done right, it could be like a When the Camellia Blooms type of show. A fish out of water comedy (City woman) and village man: Opposites Attract. Seems like these two characters will also build a community in the village, & better the village. If done right, could be very heartwarming.
SMA's character is suppose to donate to those in need, so it seems like a healing/slice of life show about how someone who judged someone b/c they were from the village, and how she overcomes that prejudice to change their community with the help of Mr. Hong, & also begin to fall in love with him in the process?

I personally think its great he's at Cable. Majority of his dramas are from Cable :) Regardless of awards, tvN is a very good/solid home to be in. I think cultivating a loyal relationship with tvN will prove to be a blessing in the future :) Imo, cable dramas rn are producing some of the best K-dramas in recent memory. There's more budget, Netflix deal, and you can go a bit more into interesting territory. Plus, think about the skin-ship and kisses lol that'll you'll get from Cable vs. Public haha!!

Imagine this happened last yr, when he had 2 dramas (one co-lead, the other lead). I mean, so he knows how to handle it but he also has a play and variety program too. Busy busy.

CF offers are nothing, as in time commitment wise. It's like a few hours or a day of work, nothing major. As for dramas, he did 2 last yr but that was before he did variety/play (He did the play after CTG ended)!.So its possible, this is the same guy that did 6 plays in one year :O
As for tvN, it's linked to CGV which is a large movie production house. If he were smart, having a loyal relationship with tvN will prove him well. Once you work with them, you're bound to be in their wheelhouse/rotation for a good few years.
This is an exciting but tricky time for KSH rn. He has so many offers left and right, but he also has to choose wisely too. As fans, we would love for him to as much as he can. But honestly, he does seem like a workhorse, and has done a lot so it wouldn't be too strenuous. Although, I do worry how his mentality can hold up doing multiple stuff and etc.
