Alright, we can infer that HJP is the character that seems to resonate a lot with viewers. My question, is do you think KSH will get nominated or possibly win awards for his performance. What are his chances? I'm not talking a hokey award like Most Emotive, but actually substantive as in Best Supporting Actor or Best New Actor? Ex. His crying scene in Ep 12, was the most memorable/heartbreaking scene in the show.
P.S: Jo Jung-suk got nominated for Jealously Incarnate which did subpar to average ratings, but he still got nominated for Best Actor in a Drama. And the supporting actor in Hyena got nominated for Best Supporting Actor, which was surprising since it was the KHS/JJH show. Start Up probably won't get nominated lol, but I can definitely see KSH get nominations and/or wins from this? Is it possible, guys?
I hope he gets edgier, and more dramatic work after this. He has this untapped potential imo. I can see him leading…
How did Jung Hae In get to work with The Son Ye Jin? Lucky mofo lol. Working w/ a huge name like her made his career accelerate faster. I was also thinking him and Seo Ye Ji or Moon Chae Won as some names I want to see him work with. I mean this is a guy who said his favorite film is If Only, and that is a Melo-romance. So it seems he's into those type of content?
Speaking of: He would be excellent in a Nine: 9 Times Travel like drama. I want to see him in something more mature, but also one that uses his charisma til the max. I'm just afraid, that he'll be offered this 'youth' type of shows, when he has this untapped potential to take on something more mature/sophisticated.
Very well said!Alone from not even being able to read aloud in front of his classmates back in school to acting…
I think he's a bit more used to televised interviews now, since he's in his 4th year acting in tv. I hope he remains humble and not cocky as he gets more attention/fame. I think his introverted demeanor is an attractive trait he has.
I seen a few of his older interviews, and he was definitely not as confident as he is now. That being said, he still is insecure and a bit shy still :) In that Esquire interview, when he chose sexy instead of cute, he got flustered lol. He and Hyun Bin have similar personalities in that regards, of being charismatic on-screen, but humble/low-key off-screen.
He seems to be quite humble, so I hope he doesn't let this fame stuff get to his head. Too many times, I've seen rising actors get so much 'heat' and crash and burn out.
OMG!! She's another amazing choice too! I love her too! I think we can at least agree that we want to see KSH paired up with a mature/sexy actress in his next work!! I want someone with those auras paired off with him. Come on give us A+ masterpiece level of chemistry like It's Okay to Not Be Okay showed us this year!!
I don't know why I never thought or saw him as manly or sexy before Start Up? He definitely gives me aura of Hyun Bin and Ji Sung, as both guys with mature/sex appeal but this hidden unabashed cute side to them as well.
I hope he gets edgier, and more dramatic work after this. He has this untapped potential imo. I can see him leading…
He did say he wants to be in a medical drama. And H.P does well with lots of characters. However, I just think he still has hidden potential in action (CTG, he excelled in the action) and Melo-romance. Can you imagine him in Something in the Rain or One Spring Night? His leading ladies have been younger than him, so this time someone around his age or older than him would be great. He needs to work with an A-List sexy/mature actress, because I think that experience will help him establish his name as a leading man. Plus, his breakthrough role as HJP, is someone who is frank/sexy/mature/cool. It would be suck if after HJP, he regresses and chooses a comedic/dorky guy imo since he already did that.

Aww, I actually like his shy/insecure nature. It keeps him humble and grounded imo. I do agree that he is more open than when he first began, but that was also because he was debuting on media which is something new to him.
Question: Compared to his interviews 2 yrs ago? What's some changes you noticed? Or what hasn't changed since then? Thanks!
A video about KSH by a Korean fan. He is always teased in 2DN1 for being a coward but I think many people are…
I found him so inspirational how he overcame his childhood trauma, and became a shining star. My hats off to him. I respect him a lot, as it was not easy to do so. And yes, people should be kinder about that knowing his childhood trauma.
Also how tall is Kim Seon-ho? I know Nam Joo-hyuk is like 6'2-6'3 right? But Seon-ho looks like he's 6'1-6'1 1/2 lol. Does anyone know? I am just saying because in that elevator scene in Ep 13, he towered over the small hands guy lol. I was like "The power this man holds!!"
Seon Ho speaks so calm and well in the Swoon interview! I expected the video to be on the funny side before I…
IA. I also think that in Korea, interviews have to be jokes or humor filled. But in the West, when it comes to press junkets and such, its more to the point. I really enjoyed seeing this side of him there! I think it's probably his true nature, when he doesn't have to be 'on' and just himself. His passion for acting and his craft was super attractive! I saw a different person, but a cool and passionate actor. Now, I want to see him something more dramatic next.
I feel like they counted on NJK's popularity way too much... That we would root for him no matter what like "hanw…
A good actor recites their lines. A great actor takes their lines, and imbues it with more depth. Case in point here. Now, can he finally get a role that actually garners him critical/awards attention next?? This man has the talent to lead a Stranger or Signal type of drama!!
Before the last episode of this mess let's agree that the outcome from it was kim seon-ho's acting and talent…
I hope he gets edgier, and more dramatic work after this. He has this untapped potential imo. I can see him leading a JTBC crime drama, a la Heartless City or Nine: 9 Times Travel?
Btw, he's fcking GLOWING in that videoAnd he's so cute and adorable I can't
Ah! Might have to go back to see that clip! Edit: Just realized it was during the food making scene lol. Ah yes, that was a nice look! I think with his hair up, he looks more dashing. Would love if he kept that look.
