overall, i felt story wise it could have been a lot more better as i wasn't happy with the direction it chose to take. however for me, the romance made it worth watching and so was the acting and chemistry. kudos to our leads for their portrayal of their characters. i was definitely impressed by their performance. will miss my beloveds ning yu xuan and ji man. ❤️

MY MIND IS BLOWN. xue deng blamed him for the destruction of the tribe and even if it was unintentional/indirectly, maybe it was the catalyst of him trying to make up for it by bringing zhou yuan and wei qi together. he always hinted that one day he will disappear so i guess after resolving everything, he can leave in peace knowing his daughter is in safe hands. man this is so genius and clicks all the missing pieces together.
