imma say it - this is still my fave drama of both tang son yun and ren jia lun! of course they've gone on to do so many others, but no other romance of theirs has hit for me like this one. and favorite character of tang son yun in general, they haven't let her be sassy like this since (besides Go Ahead, her other best role in my opinion). sigh.

thank you! i had kept floating around that short but will actually watch it now that I realize liu xiao xu's in there. Seems like his dramas are slowly being updated here so I'm optimistic the republican drama will show up soon.

Didn't know this page was finally put up, appreciate yall! this drama caught me by surprise, and I must agree with the sentiment of others that I really think this is one of the best dramas I watched all year. it has an emotional depth that I rarely see in full length dramas even, much less the shorts. Anyone know who the director is?

Just finished this and they quite literally don't make them like this anymore, I want MORE. I know somewhere there are essays breaking down what this show has to say about cycles of violence, and systems of power and oppression. Maybe even critiques of capitalism and imperialism? If someone got the link to the essays, please share! I'll hit that translate button if I have to. This was such an immersive world.

where do yall go to figure out the voice acting cast? just started this and the voice actor for wei jun (oldest wei bro) sounds so familiar, it's bugging me that I can't place it
