I'm also a little disappointed that we didn't get to see Shu Yanan mourn Jin Bao. I thought they were buddies. Even though we all knew it was coming, I'm still so sad that he died, damn. Really made him feel so disposable.
I assume Shu Yanan and Yun Xiang will kill Nang Gong Fang and Ko Yuan Jie, and Liu Gong Chan will capture Prince…
LOL, seriously though. I am SUPER excited for us to finally get a real fight from Mama Kou. I am optimistic that she'll make it through, but it feels like nothing is guaranteed with the way things have been going.
Wow, that went to hell in a hand basket. My heart broke for KQ and MBF, but especially KQ (kid didn’t deserve…
Prince Fu definitely likes to play innocent but he knows what his NGF minion is capable of.
I also don't care about the princess but I'm wondering if they are setting her up to go against her father. Would be a refreshing shift after all of this tragic mess of the past few episodes.
I am convinced that SYN is tricking NGF. It would be absolutely ridiculous if SYN and YX didn't see KYJ's betrayal coming, and I'd be mad if SYN of the sect known for poison is not prepared to be poisoned 😒🙄
As this fascinating drama draws to a close, I knew we had to see folks die:- KQ Master, KQ and Mo Bufan so sad-…
I agree, they been too active with using the Cao Sect not to see Qi Tian Feng make a reappearance, been waiting for him to show up. Seeing Mama Kou fight is probably what I'm most excited for as the show ends, besides Shu Yanan kicking ass and Prince Fu, Nang Gong Fang, and Kou Yan Jie getting what's coming to them of course.
Does anyone want to take bets on how this will end? Because at this point it can go in any direction lol.
I assume Shu Yanan and Yun Xiang will kill Nang Gong Fang and Ko Yuan Jie, and Liu Gong Chan will capture Prince Fu; the sects are dissolved or pardoned, merged and left to mom (if she survives); and then Shu Yanan and Yun Xiang leave to live a quiet life somewhere. Otherwise why set up all this death towards the end just for another sad ending? Although even if Shu Yanan and Yun Xiang make it out ok, it would still find it to be quite a bitter ending after everything that has just happened.
a small part of me is holding out hope that Yun Xiang knew Mo Bu Fan was planning on dying so he filled both the glass and the bottle with the fake death poison. please, all this death is so depressing
The Ingenious One at this point seems to be NanGong Fang. He can fight, he is scheming and so far seems to be…
Definitely her weakness. Otherwise I'm not sure why she wouldn't take up Yun Xiang's offer to work things out together, since she always talks about how smart he is. I'm still waiting on her reaching her breaking point and start tearing things up though.
Have they already flashed back to his childhood self? I don’t remember seeing it but there is a child actor…
That is a relief honestly. I don't think I have it in me to wait however many years to finish this same story. I am a bit curious about those backstories tho.
Have they already flashed back to his childhood self? I don’t remember seeing it but there is a child actor…
Got it, I definitely misunderstood. I also don't remember seeing young Qi Tian Feng. Him not reappearing soon would make me even more worried that they're setting up for a second season. His last scene really made it seem like we would see him again. But you're right, you never know what new turns they will try to work in.
What he means is the more YX wins, the higher risk YX becomes over confident AND the more dependent the Master…
Agreed! Besides all the other clues they've been throwing out about the Yuntai master, I'm convinced it's King Fu because (in his absence so far) he's the only character who seems to have the time lol. Other characters been too busy elsewhere to go up and down that mountain all the time. Bringing in this and other characters so late has me worried about the ending though. I saw your other comment about the live stream implying the storylines get wrapped up, but we will see how (well) that happens I guess.

Wait now I'm worried I misunderstood. Did you mean a flashback to Qi Tian Feng or to Yun Xiang's childhood. I only remember a flashback for Yun Xiang, not Qi Tian Feng. My bad if I confused your question.
What he means is the more YX wins, the higher risk YX becomes over confident AND the more dependent the Master…
This threw me for a loop for a moment since the show has made it pretty clear that someone is manipulating both, but I still thought of it more as Yuntai and Lingyuan as separate sects. But yea, that likely does mean that the sects are already merged in a way. It seems to be only at the top though, and still a secret from the rest of the members of each sect, unless I missed something? I was thinking of Yun Xiang and Shu Yanan openly reuniting the sects, maybe as co-leaders or something like that.
I've always thought Qi Tian Feng would return for Part Deux but he's disappeared for good, it seems.
I also have been waiting for his reappearance and kinda still expect him to show up. Maybe he'll come in towards the end as a consultant baddie to help Shu Yanan and Yun Xiang take over the sects.
His friends are always stunned by Yun Xiang's foresight.
It's true. I thought it was just a way the story was showing us how much smarter Yun Xiang is than everyone else (or how much slower everyone else is), but what if its foreshadowing?
What he means is the more YX wins, the higher risk YX becomes over confident AND the more dependent the Master…
This makes a lot of sense. I've gotten the feeling at various points that we're not being presented with all the information we need to understand the fuller story. Very curious to see how the show progresses and I suspect/am scared that someone major will die before the end. It seems like we're moving in the direction toward Shu Yanan and Yun Xiang working together to perhaps reunite/restructure Qianment Sect (or maybe dismantle it all together), but I'm not sure how that will play out.
I also don't care about the princess but I'm wondering if they are setting her up to go against her father. Would be a refreshing shift after all of this tragic mess of the past few episodes.
