now wait… i’ve never associated horse noises in bl to that 😭 i did not know it was even a thing..?

maybe im being a little nitpicky but the pacing feels off and some of the scene transitions and editing are just… awkward. the fight scene was surprisingly decent by bl standards and trust me i almost always skip them (gmmtv im looking right at you). that said, there were definitely some slip-ups that made it hard to ignore certain details. one that really got me was when pheem had blood on the side of his face and mouth in one shot and then in the very next his face was fine? 😭😭 these little inconsistencies really pull me out of the story

this was actually really cute ! but the constant horse sound effects were annoying 😭

yuppp whenever the story calls for real action like fight scenes, car crashes or anything high stakes, they can’t put it off. the camera work is messy and distracting, the props look cheap and the overall production feels underwhelming. the fight scenes are poorly choreographed and lack any sense of impact or tension and the special effects and sound design are just plain bad which makes the moments that are supposed to be intense or thrilling feel awkward and even unintentionally funny lmao

omg i jumped when thap asked in to take care of him this time we seriously need more switch/versatile representation in queer media !!!!!!!

when people call certain bls soft porn, they don’t mean it in the literal sense of no plot at all. they mean that the shows pile on so many sex scenes that the story takes a backseat. the romance and intimacy become more about constant physical gratification than narrative development. at that point the balance shifts like the story is technically there but it clearly comes second.
