episode 2 kinda pissed me off with the way they handled the whole domestic violence thing. i just felt like it was really careless, even considering the theme of the show and the scene. like they had the woman forgive her husband after a half-assed apology and also made her apologize to him?? but aside from that, i’m actually really enjoying the show so far. this is probably my favorite domundi production up to now.
Enigma can hide their scent cos they are more powerful than Alphas. they can appear as alpha or omega. if you…
i gathered that enigmas are more powerful than alphas, i just wasn’t sure if they’re considered a completely separate designation outside of the typical a/b/o system or more like a rare genetic mutation within the existing ones. and no i have yet to watch the exclusive content !! thanks for letting me know about that 🫶
i’m not super familiar with the omegaverse like i’ve watched pitbabe and picked up bits and pieces from people who are into it but i’ve never actually read any fanfics with the trope. from what i understand, hua yong is supposed to be an enigma (?) but is he still technically an omega? i mean doesn’t shaoyou smell him as one? so is that his real designation or is the omega scent something that’s been fabricated? like can an enigma present as an omega without actually being one?
This is what I said after I saw the scenes. Like for crying out loud Charlie where is your backbone? Why do you…
i don’t think the problem is that babe doesn’t love charlie… it’s the lack of knowing what to do with it. he doesn’t know how to love him right and love, when it’s mishandled, can still hurt just as deeply as the absence of it. and honestly i wanted charlie to get his lick back sooo bad i wanted him to make babe feel every ounce of what he put him through. i wanted him to get his power back and let babe sit with that sick feeling of being left behind, just like he did.
All Charlie probably wants is a proper apology from Babe.
babe can’t bring himself to utter a simple apology bcs to say “i’m sorry” would mean admitting he was wrong, that he crossed a line, that he chose to betray the trust they built. instead, he dances around it, offering explanations, excuses, justifications, literally everything BUT accountability. it’s cowardly.
This is what I said after I saw the scenes. Like for crying out loud Charlie where is your backbone? Why do you…
babe genuinely believes he’s done nothing wrong. in his mind, having his reasons somehow excuses everything like as long as he didn’t MEAN to cheat or be secretive about everything, he shouldn’t be held accountable. but that’s not how relationships work like you don’t get to hurt someone and then hide behind your intentions. he’s acting like being misunderstood is the real tragedy here. and charlie… he’s become such a pushover. he’s letting babe walk all over him and it’s like he’s lost all sense of self respect. it’s frustrating to watch someone shrink themselves for the sake of keeping someone else around.
it was infuriating how babe kept telling charlie to “be reasonable” as if charlie had no right to feel betrayed, no right to be upset like being his boyfriend didn’t give him that space. it was so dismissive like it really pissed me offffff and the way he later proceeded to twist everything to make it seem like this was all charlie’s fault is unreal. he acted like it was charlie’s behavior, his actions, his supposed neglect that pushed him into letting willy get so close, touching him like that. as if charlie being busy in the lab and not spending “enough time” with him justified any of it but that’s not even true like charlie WAS present. babe’s just guilt-tripping him. he refuses to take responsibility. when alan told him to apologize, he couldn’t even fucking say the words. he instead accused charlie of not caring about him at all and it’s just so so cruel. completely unfair to charlie, who’s done nothing but try, who’s always been there in his own way. babe’s rewriting the story just to escape blame and it’s honestly heartbreaking. charlie doesn’t deserve that. and i really fucking hate how quickly charlie folded. after everything that happened, babe should’ve been on his damn knees begging him to take him back, apologizing again and again, showing real remorse, not just throwing around excuses. he should’ve had to work to earn charlie’s trust back. but instead charlie caved almost instantly and it’s like babe walked away without ever truly being held accountable.
edit : thank you for your replies but i’ve found the novel and read it already !!
