Agreed. I haven’t read the novel but I heard the Hong Kong arc wasn’t even included in the original novel and neither was the second lead couple? Honestly I would’ve enjoyed this drama so much more if they had communicated better and there wasn’t so much time spent on the 2nd couple and grandparent’s story because Sang Yan and Yifan had lots of potential.

I’m on ep 10 and I’m so frusturated with the FML. I understand why she’s acting the way she is but can someone tell me if it gets better bc I hate seeing the ML being pushed away I’m afraid he’ll actually leave at some point. 🥲

I just finished the first episode and am somewhat unsure if I should continue, mainly because of the romance. Jang Uk is colder this season which is understandable due to how season 1 ended, although the FML doesn’t seem too bad so far. Should I continue? I wanna know if Naksu gets her revenge at the end or if Jang Uk at least helps her with it.

It was a bit slow in the middle but eventually starting picking up again. I loved the backstory with the ML and his brother. I’m a bit concerned with how the 2nd FML and ML romance will play out because it’s already ep 18 and she still hasn’t started reciprocating feelings for him.

There were a lot of filler seasons I feel like but it got interesting towards the end.

I haven’t finished this drama, but I definitely agree. After watching Hidden Love which is a 10/10 drama for me I was looking for something else to fill the void. While I love the FML and ML, I would’ve liked more scenes of their romance building up. I don’t dislike the supporting characters, but what I loved most about Hidden Love was that they were mostly in the background which gave Sang Zhi and Jiaxu more screen time to develop their characters.

I’ve heard people say that the ML is mean to the FML for the first few episodes. Is that true? 😭
