Because they want to get the shows out cheaply and quickly. New is fine directing simple, fluffy series but for shows that require more thought and effort you see where his limitations as a director are clear like in Revamp.

Boun did not write the script, there are two Gmmtv writers credited for writing it. So while it might still be his "vision", the characters and tone of the series changed slightly throughout the script writing process, that much is clear when you compare the first two trailers to the final product.
