Anyway I don't resent do san for going to the party (even though the only reason he felt bad for the girl was because she was 'the pretty girl who texted him nicely and too friendly and waited to by his ball'). I just don't like the fact that he continued it, of course it's needed for the story, but he should have been grateful he got to spend such an exciting night (wear nice clothes, ride an expensive car and be with the pretty girl) but then ended it when the time was right. Unfortunately he got greedy and wanted it to last and that's why he chose to continue to lie. If I were him I would have gone to the party too (with taking the money), spent the exciting evening, help some people, but then said goodbye (later telling my friends story on our night out).

Yeah he was 'used' but also offered money. It was more like a 'business deal'. Do san made it personal. By saying he didn't have a girlfriend and by sticking around he dig up the lie that should have buried. Do san could have easily said no (which he actually did) but later still went to meet dal mi and that for free. And you know what, if he were actually bothered by the lie he could have called the police 'cause you know why not, it was identity theft after all.
You're right thought, it was for Dalmi's comfortness, why did Do san lie it couldn't have possibly been for his own comfort?

Do san could have felt at least a little bit sorry for throwing up on JP or at least a little bit grateful for him helping him. Instead he just wanted him gone, out of way, away from dal mi. It was wrong of him to stay, if he sobered up he should have went home, or drank some more so he could talk to his parents, drunk like he wanted to (because yeah that makes sense, next time when my parents are mad at me I'll just get wasted and go apologize I'm sure they'll be whole less angry, and plus I only have mouth and courage to speak up when I'm drunk - fighting.)

I'm not surprised for do san he wanted to get rid of him the whole episode, but dal mi and grandma could have at least said goodbye, or sth like 'see ya at work'

This is CATFISHING. Like some type of reverse catfishing. Not the exact definition of the word, but I would still call this catfishing. Nam do san needs to understand how wrong he is. He may not have technically started it, but he DID. It was his and his alone idea to stay. I guess he forgot that he had a girlfriend and decided to stick around.

While I was traveling once I definitely saw to rainbow. It was long ago, but I think there were actually more, like lighter, but still there in the background. Let's not be too depressed. There's always time for that when drama ends, it's not over yet.

Well, yeah that's why she'll chose him, but at the end their 'love' won't last because sometimes just liking someone isn't enough. She is in love with him and that's why she is blinded, but to be honest it won't last. You can't build a long lasting relationship on the feelings that dal mi has for do san, and neither can he on that matter. They don't know each other and once they start a relationship and started learning all sorts of things I can't expect them to last because their personalities are just not the match. I'm sure dal mi wouldn't like all those 'qualities' of do san that everyone here keeps mentioning, but also do san, he fell in love with his imagination of the perfect girl or just the girl since he never dated before. He fell in love and became obsessive and that waaay to fast. Everyone talks about why dal mi shouldn't like do san (because they don't like his character, me included), but hey do san has even less reason to love dal mi. She is also his first love, so why don't let her go, ha? He should go for someone more childish like him, less mature than dal mi or whatever someone who could actually like him for who he is.

Does anyone know when and where we'll be able to watch that spin-off (I know it's mid Nov, but wish there were more info) I really hope it's as cute as those scenes from ep 12.

I just wonder why does the writer herself even root for do san. How can she write a character like him and make him the ML and that the ML lead who gets the girl (we have yet to see, but yeah that will happen :(

I know, right? I just hate it. Also, it's one thing to have second lead syndrome because you think that he goes better with the girl, but come on, do san and dal mi are not for each other at all. Even their personalities don't go well with each other. This drama should end differently. You know what... that time jump - it should actually go like this... dal mi recklessly forgives do san and they start going out and we have that time jump. The future dal mi (and do san, why not) realizes that they are just not fated for each other, they didn't know who they really were when they met and they should just stay friends.
And since i ship her with ji pyeong I'll add this part. Dal mi finds different projects to work on, she and Ji Pyeong work in the similar field, mean while do san goes his own way and eventually dal mi starts to like JP and they start a much stable relationship with higher chances to last than her and do san. They start the family. The end. At least I'll pretend this ending happens when dal mi chooses do san by the end of drama.

Yes! THIS. I forgot about it, but while watching the episode I had to pause for a moment and I just screamed (well not screamed more like just cursed). The worst is that he made himself believe that he is good and from what I saw in this episode he only sees Ji Pyeong as a flaw, someone with only money and nothing else to offer, a bad guy, an obstacle between him and dal mi. I strongly disliked Do san before, but this is too much, this episode was like written to start to hate his character. Those scenes from the past and his reasons are just not sth to sympathize with and are more like a reason to like him even less. I don't think cheating was the bad part, it can happen, it actually made me see him more as a normal human and not just an annoying and jealous character, but if that cheating is really the reason for him to become the liar or idk what the writers meant, but just... i feel bad for his parents. It happened so long ago, did he really have to ruin it for them, ruin that one perfect memory they had, you know something that doesn't happen to other parents. If I were them, I wish I'd never found out.

Women might like men who are open with their feelings, but I can't imagine any woman being proud of having such a weak guy (boy) as her boyfriend. Instead of wanting a relationship, do san should first work on himself and find the courage to step up to his parents and prove to them that they are wrong.
