Okay, I feel like I'm leaving way too many comments but I have a lot of thoughts about this drama. Both NDS and…
i really appreciate characters like ji pyeong who don't understand their feelings at first and we watch them struggle to realize how they really feel, it's pretty realistic and i love to empathize with them, also i'd always prefer a couple who were first friends or even enemies than the ones who liked each other immediately (it shows the growth of their relationship and i feel like those relationships are more likely to last because they are based on something more then looks and first impression of someone - even if NDS and DM end up together at the end of this drama i can't see them lasting very long because they don't really know each other and eventually they would just realize that they are not what they imagined the other one to be)
In the beginning, I felt Start Up, had the same potential as HBO's Silicon Valley, but the weak story line has…
i'd love it if it were true, i love slow-burn romances the most because they seem most realistic and entertain you through the whole show (if i were the writer i would seriously do that, but don't think the writer of this show or any other will do it, at least not any time soon)
and do san didn't prevent him too? do san chose not to tell her the truth because he wants her to keep liking…
not really, he fell in love with her at first sight (which i really don't like in dramas) and later chose to pretend to be do san from the later without getting anything in return just because he wanted to meet he, it wasn't because ji pyeong asked him, but for himself
I´m sorry but Ji Pyung does not deserve Dal Mi. He had so many chances to tell her the truth about the letters…
and do san didn't prevent him too? do san chose not to tell her the truth because he wants her to keep liking him, the guy has been obsessed with her since day one when he saw standing (like imagine going to pick sth up that you ordered online from someone and just falling for them). The way Ji Pyeong is falling for Dal Mi is so much more natural and he shouldn't be blamed for not realizing his feelings immediately, that's what would make their love so much more interesting (liking each other for 16 ep or 15 is boring, no development) and it is normal, people don't always understand their feelings
This episode has so many good moments with Ji Pyeong and Dal Mi. I know they won't be the endgame, but I still choose to enjoy their every moment together (while I eye-roll every time Nam Do San comes to screen / sorry not sorry he annoys me so much).
In Dramaland, some people only watch what they wish to see...
i never skip through dramas i watch even when i don't like them, i only skipped through that kiss scene since i just couldn't watch it. I don't like dropping dramas so i'll finish this one. Also it's so important for drama to be good other than the romance (which this one is), but the romance is important as well and in this one I just hate it since i know how it will end... so i won't be skipping through any NDS and DM's scenes but i won't watch their kisses as they really annoy me. i can't even count the times I've watched the drama only for the second lead when i hated the lead, but i always try to finish it to the end.
a lot of people here saying how the kiss was awesome, but i wouldn't know - i skipped it. The only good scenes in this episode were with Ji Pyeong and the Plant.
I don't know any. If there were I would like it to be Mr. Sunshine. There, I was fond of 2nd and 3rd male leads.…
Ikr. I wish all dramas had 2 endings, that everyone could be happy :) In Mr. Sunshine I wanted her to be with that guy from Japan (played by Yoo Yeon Seok), but it would have literally made it better if she ended up with anyone other that the lead)
Is there actually a drama where the female ends up with the second male lead? Does anyone know?
I've watched one, it's called Because it's the first time, but I didn't like it. There are so many dramas I wanted the girl to end up with the second lead, but not in that one.
I don't like episode 7. I hated the kiss. I honestly like the story, but it's getting harder to watch and it will only get worse. I'd rather Dal Mi end up with no one than with NDS. Not only do I not like his character, but their love story is worse - nothing interesting about it, ML just likes the girl and she likes him too right from the start because she thinks he is someone else and later she'll chose to stay with him and that's it, they will be together the whole drama. Her story development with JP could be so much more interesting with him taking time to realize he likes her and with his interesting and funny personality.
This is the first korean drama I didn’t like To watch ML was kissing The FL ...ahhhh I wish it was HJP
it's not the first for me, but currently it's killing me. i can't watch any other drama because i keep refreshing comments and watching their videos on youtube, trying to comfort myself, because we all already know how it will end (unfair that there isn't even a chance of her ending up Ji Pyeong)
Watch the entire drama so far until epsiode seven. It seems like everyone want the old same story where the mfl…
I personally think he liked even as kids because even though grandma helped him at first he later continued writing on his own and was happy to read her responds (and also really happy when he heard her name in the future, following her and smiling), but that aside - and aside the fact that I like him so much more as a character (his personality) than NDS - I love their story so much more too, for me in a drama it's so much important that the leads have a developed relationship and I love complex emotions (which is what we have with Ji Pyeong who is yet to realize how much he likes her, unlike NDS who already likes her and fell in love with her in the stupidest way at first sight - there is nothing interesting about their relationship, it's so boring). At this point, I'd rather the FL end up with no one then with NDS.
I know... the first drama I've watched was school 2015. I've learnt my lesson right from the start. I did fall in love with korean dramas, but i just think it's really sad how in every single one you already know who the girl is going to end up and can't have even the slightest hope (just look how everyone in this comment section who ship Dal Mi with Ji Pyeong are all sad and the drama has just began) - I really hope it changes in the future (like in Love Alarm for example where no one really knows who the lead is)
it's like he wrote those letters but the lie was flat, he literally could've said "I was young so I lied", the…
It wasn't against his will, he chose to do it - he literally fell in love with first sight and later chose to go to her for no money or prize. And he's not nice, I mean he's not a bad person, but he's more oblivious about life and everything around him and that's why looks so nice. Inside he is actually really selfish (in my eyes anyway) - he's the one that chooses to keeps lying to Dal Mi (even when Ji Pyeong wanted to tell her the truth). That's one he's been really annoying me in the last few episodes and why I think he is selfish - he keeps lying for himself and himself only, as he want Dal Mi to continue to like him. Ji Pyeong lied only so he could protect Dal Mi's memory of her only childhood friend and first love. He has no ulterior motive, unlike Do San.
In Mr. Sunshine I wanted her to be with that guy from Japan (played by Yoo Yeon Seok), but it would have literally made it better if she ended up with anyone other that the lead)
