Now that I think about it, Do san is really self centered person.
Yes, i will be sad if (when) JP doesn't win dal mi's heart, but tbh the girl should just see do san for who he is and then judge if she likes him. With the preview... I just can't believe that she will just forgive do san. Watching this episode she really seems in love with him, but she doesn't know him at all, and if she did I can't believe that she would like him.
Why show scenes like making HJP switch on the AC for her. My shipper heart skipped a beat just by that little…
Yes! That scene was just adorable. Not only did he notice she was hot, but he immediately lowered the temperature. What messed with me was also the scene when she was looking at him and he asked if there was anything else on his face. Episode went down hill after that, with only dal mi and do san's scenes. If she was suspecting why be so loving towards him, hugging him and talking about stars and all and even her conversation with grandma. Those scenes with do san made me sad, but in the wrong (annoying) way.
I can't buy do san's reasons for keeping the die - first he wanted to see her smile and later not cry. He just wanted her to like him and that's it. But considering that he was having a conversation with himself means he really believes what he has and... well I just have no words for that. He deluded himself that he is the good guy and instead that Ji pyeong is the bad one only trying to steal something that is his and his only. Also, it's so wrong how do san equals ji pyeon with money and doesn't value him as a person.
I'm actually annoyed with myself :)) I knew this will happen, yet I hoped writers are smarter than this and that…
hahaahhaha, that's exactly it. The only way everything that has happened so far could make sense is if at the end Dal Mi fell in love with JP at the end, but yeah why like a grown up, independent man who can offer you comfort and also challenge you, make you better, question your decisions when there is just an immature boy that lies and is not even capable to stick up for himself (even to his parents) and just runs behind you like a lost puppy. I understand that you can't choose who to love, but you also can't like someone who doesn't really have anything to offer.
The writers have tried their level best to make NDS very pitiful and awkward and adorable but I'm sorry I just…
I felt sorry for his parent when he told them the truth about cheating. He just ruined that one perfect memory they had, the one they could even brag to others and be really proud of. It was so long ago and if I were them I'd fish he'd held it for himself. I mean I really don't like do san and all, but I also hate how his father treats him, that's no way to treat a child, but come on let's be hones it's also do san's fault, not because he hasn't succeeded, but because he lets him. I have problems with my mum too, but I do my best to stick out for myself and also he is a grown up when is he going to start acting like one??!! I agree he is such a cry baby, he doesn't seem to try to prove his parents wrong. Also... who gets drunk when their parent's are already mad at them. Like she should be his best self, but instead he gets drunk, because sober he can't explain to his parents that he is just not CEO material (so to break it to him and them, but not everyone can be everything, he is born with the talent to be inventor and not entrepreneur there's nothing wrong with that, everyone has there own place and job). He even got the biggest shares, I honestly think dal mi should have taken them when she's already the CEO, but ok she made that choice.
I'm really like this writer, but today for the 1st time I was disappointed... I turned myself blind for the lies…
I hated how do san kept calling him rich jerk, rich and... It may have came out as if JP was talking of dal mi as she were a thing (do san also did it btw), but what he meant is that he would give up everything and all he has, all that money for her and I liked that. What I didn't like is how do san kept insulting him while using the word rich - he basically kept saying that JP is worth nothing and has nothing to offer accept his money.
Halmeoni, I really loved you. But how could you do this to Ji Pyeong? How? Loved the DM-IJ moment at the start…
Yes, that was the only happy moment, it surprised me how glad I was when dal mi jumped in to protect her. I didn't like her sister in the first few episodes, but now that's changing. It's something that will never happen with him, if anything I'm starting to dislike him even more. I can't lie and say it wasn't nice what he did for grandma, but still I just want grandma with JP, I can't help but dislike how she and do san are getting closer.
I was so sad when ji pyeong decided to give up and how grandma told him he was too late. I really disliked this episode and for me who doesn't like do san i hated how many scenes of him and dal mi were and this episode and how close they were and just... hated it. I really really don't like do san (i'll admit that what he did for grandma here was nice, but i just can't help but hate it how he's getting closer to the grandma, ji pyeong should have at least her - at the end of this episode i realized why though and it's because grandma really believed ji pyeong when he said he didn't like dal mi and so she never thought she had to take sides). Overall I felt really depressed watching this episode, had the mixture of annoyed, sad and angry all over my face, except at the end when we finally got to see some JP scenes - then I was just sad and even cried at one moment. And the trailer for next episode doesn't look good either, it's all about dal mi and do san and i guess there won't be much of JP like there wasn't in this episode either.
lol what do you mean you don't ship but but you think they're soulmates? what's the difference? i ship them thought…
right, i 've read a lot of people writing the same, it makes sense, still for my own sake i'll chose to see them romantically since i just like them too much, even if it's imaginary.
To be honest, I started this drama because I thought they would pair up Lee Rang and Yu Ri. I feel disappointed about that one, but at least the bromance and supernatural-mystery parts are good.
yeah, i don't know why so many people assume that they didn't mean anything to him and that he didn't care about…
wow, i seriously don't understand your need to belittle this character and everything everybody above said when they are clearly not doing that to you, everyone only stated things that have happened, words that have been spoken and what they meant, idk why you don't want to admit that the character of ji pyeong has feeling like every other character in the drama and just because they only showed those few scenes of him reading and writing letters doesn't mean there haven't been others 'offscreen' why do you keep denying that the guy likes her, no body here is questioning do san's feelings which are actually much more questionable (lets say ji pyeong's feelings are based on the letters, what are do san's feelings based on??? time when he saw her in the park? for the first time in his life? come on! stop making ... well you're obviously not even making assumptions you're just writing things you know that aren't true just to bring us ji pyeong shippers down. So please stop. And yes we have second lead syndrome, but you clearly have it the other way (first lead syndrome) a bit to much. Your otp is going to end up together at the end anyway, what's the point in trying to bring down the guy that's going to have hard at the end. JP'S FEELINGS ARE REAL, and just because you keep writing that they are not won't make them disappear.
I know a lot of people are saying HJP detested writing the letters to SDM, but I implore you to rewatch episode…
yeah, i don't know why so many people assume that they didn't mean anything to him and that he didn't care about dal mi at all, just like he was the only friend to her, she was to him too, and also some people say that he has even forgotten what she wrote in the letters, but that's not true, he only forgot some parts from what he wrote, but it wouldn't be strange even if he forgot something from hers, you can't remember every detail from a conversation you had 15 years ago no matter how much you like the person you're talking to, and yeah there has also been a lot of conversations (letters) between them so it's not strange that he forgot something, just him remembering the most and saving all the letters means a lot
i really appreciate characters like ji pyeong who don't understand their feelings at first and we watch them struggle…
he is definitely in denial now, he didn't know it at first (when he was young and met her again he didn't know, but now he is just in denial) but i think it's realistic because feelings aren't simple, like for my self i can see liking a lot of guys when i first see them or talk to them but it's not love or anything you just forget about them soon after. When you know someone for a while and label them as a friend or a colleague you don't look at them as a love interest and that's why you can't immediately know your own feelings. relationships which are more that a fling are built on something more than just first impressions (idk i guess i think it's realistic because i see myself in him - both his feelings and personality and can't find anything in common with do san and since i also really don't believe in love at first sight which is what it was for do san) and to be honest since this is drama and not real life i can never sincerely support such 'easy' couples like dal mi and do san (idk if you've seen the drama record of youth but i think that's why no body ended up liking it at the end - i only watched it for the second lead character and also cinematography has been pretty great)
