About the dubbing, mandarin is a language where the pronunciation is very very important, you can change a word just by mispronouncing a tone, so dramas are dubbed to make the sound clear to the audience. They also add subs in mandarin for this same reason Another thing is the sound quality, specially in dramas with fighting scenes, they feel the need to dub it so the ambiance's sound will be clear and it won't make it hard to understand the voices (again for the first mentioned reason) Not all cdramas have high quality dubbing but it's not hard to get used to it, trust me
I can't believe I'm saying this but I hope it gets a korean remake. I feel like most of the drama's problems comes from china and cdramas format. A korean remake would have much more couple scenes (because the government wouldn't censor it), the bromance would be even stronger and some of the characters' choices would change because of the number of episodes. Also, some of the script's holes could be fixed I really wish for this now...
