I just came from reading douban rating again and I'm mad again. All that 1 stars rating just talk about ZDY looks again and again. I TOTALLY can't relate to them. I've never watched anything with ZDY, but I thought she's beautiful at first glance. She played childish Shanggu very well, and the powerful Goddess of Chaos too. She's a total cutie when she smiles, and a kick-ass when she's in the dont-play-with-me mode. I can understand critics about the dubbing of her when you're used to her voice - but, for me, her dubbing is also amazing, it's sounds like it's her own voice.
I do think Xu Kai had some bad acting moments during the first arc, but overall he's very good. Specially now in the second arc, I'm totally in love with his acting.
The plot is so good too! Usually the first arc of xianxias are very slow and boring, but this one wasn't. The writer and director made a very good pace - making us laugh, hate, love and get very anxious in the first few episodes. And even with all of this, there are still many mysterious things to unleash, which is making me very anxious for the next episodes lol
About production, editing, directing, CGI and such - it's delivering everything and more of what we saw on the trailers.
I definitely, totally recommend it for now - it's very worthing the hype

Ah, I love it so much. The story is nothing much, but the characters are so good, specially the leads. I see they left an open ending, but I'm not sure they gonna do a second season since it didn't seems to have been successful enough. What a pity. I'd gladly watch many more episodes of Qing Luo and Xiudu flirting while Nan'nan is being naughty

Yo, I love the dubbing so much? I had a little shock when listening Liu Xue Yi because I'm watching another drama of his, but I'm already used even to his voice now.
I'm also happily surprised by how easy I bought Xu Kai's character. Zhou Dong Yo is so cute and funny too, I specifically love the scenes when she's mad and suddenly goes all lovely lol

This have been said in many dramas too: gods doesn't really care about age when it's about relationship. Since they live thousands and thousands of years, it's not really a big deal. Even if they saw someone growing up

I mean, even if people complain, they will keel their account and the app waiting for subs. Fansubs can easily download raw episodes and their English subs to translate to other languages, so blocking it wouldn't help. It's better keep people using the platform waiting for their first language subs than let them go to illegal source right away. And there's people like me too, that are just fine with only English subtitles

Like I said, a very cute and funny version, not necessarily better
And Love and Destiny is very flat, actually, it's just better than Eternal Love of Dream
