Although I love this series, I must say there's always some real weird and disgusting stuffs. First season, she using Qu Tan'er's body at will. Second season, him using his son's appearance to get close to her. Here, she marrying a second guy knowing he was madly in love and she wouldn't a hang to him. Xiaotan's selfishness is specially infuriating sometimes.

The funny thing is that I wouldn't even realize when they'd go missing for some eps lol Second ML is such a fake good boy, I hated him a lot. And the writer pushed him so bad 🙄 For no freaking reason he just would appear to be the FL's angel and bs 🙄 The only reason the second FL ended being the big btch is cuz she's a woman and the woman always must be the btch 🙄 she actually was better than the SML in the beginning And the drama was enjoyable only because the leads had great chemistry and acting. Some of their dialogues and scenes were sooooooo cringe and over the top, I just could take it because it was them. Anyways, with some skips, it was fun
I guess the difference is in the increase of kdrama and cdrama fans for the past years because Korea and China are actually interested in reaching international audience, while Japan really doesnt care - so they got a lot of new fans through their new dramas, while jdramas are mostly watched by old drama fans. Also take into account how kdrama fans are actually quite close minded and many doesn't even try cdramas cuz they think it's all too old-fashioned - those people don't want to try jdramas and their 2000s visuals.
I hate WeTV's blocking bs so much - they'll bock it in your country as long as there's no subs in your language. Like, I'm a VIP because I want to watch it at the same as everyone, why are you blocking it?????

You remind me: a big problem in chinese dramas is the amount of it that still uses rape for plot, without really working it out. Like in The Romance of Tiger and Rose, FL is almost rapped even by the ML and then it's just forgotten.
