shuting

from rumors, youku has a new policy to cut dramas down in response to the growth of vertical and mini dramas. next year, they should cut long dramas into seasons and not release anything longer than 20 eps 💀

yall forgot she has han li's herbs u.u

crazy comment cuz, for most of these, this drama has the best we have ever seen in chinese dramas 😶

dong xuan'er's actress should play a fox type of character, she is so good at it haha

exactly. she made everything public and she's the only one always bringing it up. its hard to side with her in this

true, but if we always take these few elements into consideration, every fantasy novel will be a hybrid, right? because there will always be mortal heroes or cultivation rankings or western influence, etc. specially cultivation, characters will always have stages they have to go through until they reach true dao. thus I believe it is useless to hold onto these details.

no biggie, this is all a healthy conversation 🫶

if you compare to xianxia from recent years, it gets confusing, cuz the genre became too much focused in romance and gods with silly mortal struggles. originally, xianxia was much more focused on cultivation to turn into immortal

wuxia is all about being super skilled in martial arts in the mortal world, jianghu, saving the world, etc. xianxia is about cultivating into immortality, dao, magic, powers, etc. they have things in common, ofc, but characters are cultivating into immortality, this already is enough to classify it into xianxia. all the cultivators here can access part of the dao to understand nature and the world, they have magic items, and even without a true god for now, they are still fighting beasts and there are demons. no way this is not xianxia

nah, definitely not xuanhuan, everything here is very much chinese fantasy

yes!

until the end now 😭

from what I could gather from donghua and novel fans, nangong really doesn't show up for a long time after their first few encounters. imo it was wrong to even label her as a fl from the beginning, but specially after they cut out so many of her scenes. but, alas, it must be in jin chen's contract too, so it can't be helped

it seems they got the money, cuz the donghua got to a new high and the drama has a stable viewship with lots of ads, but I also believe a s2 is unlikely

they finally took out the romance tag 👏👏
but the wuxia tag is wrong 😅 this is a xianxia

actually she is always the one coming out to slander him

song is sus but hot

rumored to december
I hope its better than tia in everything, always a new high 💪 haha

these reservation numbers doesn't mean much, don't worry

thinking about it, the immortal ascension is helping improve yy's image after fomh, zhang yuxi and ruonan are in a new high in their careers too, if whispers of fate airs before it, fang yilun could also have a new career high - this would mean a lot of hype for this project 🥰 I hope it all works out well and this become a new instant classic 🙌🙌🙌
