I really love cdramas but I have a very strong critique about their chinese audience. They want acting above looks but they criticize any "ugly" actor; they want good directing, but they will go rampant about any creativity; they want realistic and touching stories, but they will put a creepy rich family above a common low class family. I've seen this happen again and again, a very toxic mindset.

The all-clever weibo and douyin audience complained about the water, the few food, the extinguisher, the glass breaker, them sleeping in the house bought by xu qin father, using the car bought by her brother, she being depressed, she being confident in her skills, she not wanting to be manipulated and oppressed anymore, etc, etc... But not a single word about the handling of PTSD... We see the priorities

YY and LYF were great in Once Upon A Time, too bad the movie was terrible. Would love to watch them again in a drama or another movie

I guess you have seen all the attacks to the drama to praise MYC right? All this craze is about the edit MYC, not the real character. So, today Li Muge posted about wanting to satisfy the people that really are watching the drama, meaning he knows these MYC "fans" are no more than edit fans, they're not watching the drama. Its a clear call out

They use it to ordinary things too, so it's literally to like. But they add more weight when they're confessing their love to someone. I guess its like that thing people tell about japanese people and the "the moon is beautiful" thingy

And yes, they're all shallow people with small brains, and they can't deny this when they've been attacking YY, WCR, LMG and JYX over edits they've watched on Douyin and Bilibili

I'm pretty sure its a cultural thing, its quite common to see them say "I like you" instead of "I love you" even in other dramas. In some, there's no ILY at all

MYC fans going crazy with Li Muge saying he hopes to be worth of the audience that watched the drama 🤣 he was savage af, love it

I wanted to be able to have a better chinese now because I've been holding my words for days now. These antis are such unreasonable people and its quite obvious they haven't watched the drama nor read the book, they just ruin the watchers experience running around saying bs about things that arent real in the drama or in real life. The only good thing they did was to help promote the drama.

Its Yang Yang that will be scolded again now, but at least something was said, he has been scolded for days now anyways
