excited for this bc finally i have some hope in william chan project like man is too hot (and good actor) to be getting these boring scripts or poor production 😭 and i tend to enjoy lots of lusi work so i see light in this project lol

but i do feel a bit iffy about changes from novel. i heard the novel is sister focused so i kind of dislike if it totally make it more focused on the romance. hopefully it was just the billing or it just do not deviate much. like even the movie version we getting ZLY and XZL fgs and i have high faith in their projects so let's just pray this will turn out good

ok ngl this seems like a journey drama rather than drama where mc achieved their goals at the end, havent watch and while it may be frustrating for viewers i do think it's quite realistic lol, ngl as someone who is fickle as much as i was determined for something at first i might drop it in the middle due to change of heart

im not focusing on looks? and i thought his acting was fine in reply 1997 (my first series of his) but it's not enough to make me care about him afterwards or for him to be among my favourite.

simply put, he was among other actors who can act but never to the point that i was so impressed or to be smitten or to keep thinking that he is so good, that changed until shopaholic louis and the smile has left your eyes.

still cant brain people who keep saying mingyu settle, there's legit very little moments of him and yisoo in the show but he choose her every week, no matter how insecure or indecisive he is, to choose her every week should be a sign that there is so much more of them that we not know of, no?

is he really just settling to the point they got into a fight after the show end bc she want them to take it slow but he want them to be official bc he was scared her feelings for him might disappear, is this just a desperation of not wanting his choice to be wrong to yall who think he just settle for her?

or is he still settling when he willingly went to her house during midnight after work for like everyday just to talk to her even for like few mins? that is the behavior from someone who just settle for someone else? yall are so unserious this man even bought a car just so they coukd go on date easily, he could bought car long before, he has the money but he only bought it to go on date for her

please accept that there is so so much of their moments in the show that we never know, if you all been following them after the show, you would see how defensive he is of her, or sometimes they will tell little story of their moments in HS that was not shown, like the reality of no entry scene was different than what was shown on the show or her helping him cut his hair etc, or the blanket scene is bc he was jelous she went on a date with someone else.

they even had their 1 year anniversary and iirc the longest HS couple so far? people can have their ships in the show but these are real people who we saw very briefly through our screen, don't act like we know them better just bc we saw few hours of their lives and respect these people and their partner

the show is heavily edited, they cut a lot of scenes between mingyu yisoo and make it centred around mingyu jinyoung, both mingyu and yisoo talk about it bts, that's why yisoo was confident about mingyu and why mingyu choose yisoo every week

bai jingting looks small but he is 183 if im not mistaken, people always forgot he is tall. i get it tho about lookwise, i think BJT is very handsome but if you are not familoar with his work you might not think he can give that vibes, i really recommend watching few ep of You Are My Hero (it was one of my favorite romance drama) and imo BJT best chemistry with all his costar so far, i was obsessed with the show back then and BJT wows me bc he just able to act as a strict police officer perfectly and he looks very manly.

As for ZXW, i do recommend watching sweet teeth, he was like the third cp so if you want to understand what im talking about you can just skip to his part, he seriously has such a sweet soft voice i totally melt

hopefullt the adaptation is up to liking of all novel readers, i actually was a bit meh about all the changes the team made but as long as it turns out good than i have nothing to complain

young BJT does has some feminine looks bc of his small built despite having lots of muscles but if you have watched you are my hero, he is very far from feminine.

zhai xiao wen was in fact was one of rumoured ml, but i disagree about him being more suitable. i love both but ZXW has such a soothi g voice, very soft type of voice that makes one easily melt, it was quite different compared to what i imagined Sang Yan voice to be tbh and he just give good boy vibes. that is why when he was announced as xie lian (TGCF) i was elated bc his voice and image is how i imagine xie lian to be, very soft, nice, calming and kind.

And yes there has been many rumored ml but besides the look none of them has the acting chops BJT has, except Chen Feiyu who i imagined as the perfect sang yan he just screamed cold guy cuz everything about him looks cold and he can act. he was in fact my first choice for sang yan but i am happy with bai jingting too bc he has both the looks and good acting skills

only watching up to ep2 but im really impressed with the set, that was cool (didnt watch S1 so idk the set standard).

anyone knows who is the boys between ep2 and ep3 (on wetv), where they get their dedicated ep in brain hall i guess, choosing chief or something, i was surprised they got whole ep dedicated to them considering they are not main cast

i was already spoiled a lot throughout these year but only gaining the will to watch this year hopefully it will still surprise me

honestly idc much about stuff like that, out of revenge kdrama i have watched, his revenge is the most satisfying to me and gave me chills, i rated show based on the feels it gave me 🤷🏻‍♀️ i still think he is the coldest ml character in kdrama and that too simply bc he gave me chills in executing his revenge, that scene after his mother was killed are forever engraved in my mind bc he is just so cold hence to me this is the best revenge kdrama and dr prisoner being second ig

why people keep saying nazha is supporting cast? just bc she is not the romantic interest? but she is playing as his sister right? she seems to be listed as main leads and even in the booting ceremony seems like one of main cast
