i dont mind that as long as the novel is well written. i hate love in the clouds drama bc they make situ ling evil, while making ji bozai good.

i may appreciate the changes they did to ml in this drama as long as they didnt turned any good novel character evil. hence i still want to read it, but if they do a lot of changes to the plot, i figured i could just start watching first

i read it is bc he is a black flag right, that actually one of the reason i wanna read 😅

im certain he is definitely better in the show. i have been holding to start for so long bc i wanna read the novel first (plus it being 300+ chapters put me off a lil) but if the show plot was very different from the novel i think i could just start the show first

for novel reader, is the novel very different to the drama? is it recommended to read bc i been contemplating to start but if there were major changes and nothing like original source, i plan to watch the show first

is it only me who think luan nian & zhuang xu (shine on me) is quite similar? emphasis on quite (im not saying they are similar character), in a way that they do love fl but their mouth towards their loved one is their biggest enemy

i have watched a bit of back from the brink, dashing youth, fangs of fortune & a bit of love in the clouds, i personally dont think any of these characters are giving the same vibe as gu yanzhen. there are similarity in regards of arrogance & shamelessness but none of them gave the same impact as gu yanzhen imo

i miss seeing obnoxious male lead like gu yanzhen anyone can give some recs, arrogant and annoying but lovingly

i have never watched the show so im intrigued and might watch this final season. and tbh the choice of ml from S1 to S3 got me thinking of the age difference with FL.

at least now we know why you still sticking around here. many of us like arthur but can still acknowledge that some scenes he is weak, the character is written like that but it is the execution sometimes that weren't giving. arthur very much suited for cold type of roles, and he is cute as puppy here too, but sometimes the potrayal as happy duan xu looks off, and im talking this beyond novel character.

all actors are like that including reba and arthur, they have their strong and weak point, some of the best actor out there who excels in crying roles are so bad playing cute type of roles. anyway some of us have watch more than 10 ep and have seen more things from reba as he simu

while this is true i dont think this really applicable for he simu bc her obsession has always to live as a mortal, and she does not enjoy being a sovereign and killing ppl either. So even if she does lose power, i wouldnt box her in the situation of powerful woman being reduced bc up till now, she is very much powerful, and if she turn out to be powerless that is bc she wants that
