i wouldnt really say they are sabotaging it but just not much effort in doing anything to advertise the drama, im not asking for grand promotion just smth that enough telling that this drama is coming but they seems to only rely on the popularity of the actors

the announced date is sudden (not surprising for c-ent) and even on the release date there were no trailer, the last trailer at that time was from 2 years ago, no official hour release, they announced at 8.30pm that first ep will be aired at 8.40pm everything is just sudden, no official calendar schedule, we only get one ep on first day which is not common, the next day they drop it at 6pm and i think they just release the calendar ytd but even that was up to ep17? or ep16? if there were really nothing happening what is stopping them from releasing the full calendar?

all that happened are just very weird bc it's very rare for this to happen. ik it was meant to compete with other traffic actors drama but with the way they are doing and the sloppy production i dont find it weird that it keep dropping. anyway which destiny drama you refer to from iqiyi? devine destiny?

i think not only haters but the practitioners doesnt seem satisfied with the way they are potrayed which is valid just like falling into yr smile has low rating bc esport community hate the way they are potrayed in the drama due to some inaccuracies etc

if ppl who had no knowledge maybe they would enjoy it and i only start ep1 few weeks ago but i will continue to watch since i have no knowledge whatsoever and only watching things for fun

i dont doubt the banner preparation at all but i do think a bare minimum was very done in promoting the drama and i was kind of convinced a dispute happened bc it's been 2 years and now that they finally release it, it just as you said the production company cant have it ready on time hence the sloppiness we see in some production of the show 😅

i personally dk how big bai jingting is but he has 36M followers on weibo, i wouldnt consider him traffic star (like gongjun (20M) where his fanbase is bigger despite having less follower) but i would say he is well liked among local ever since his appearance in variety show of who is the murderer and his series, reset is a hit in china last year

true the bts when they use their own voice is good i just dont get the production sometimes or is it bc the artist dont have time? but thing is they use their own voice in modern drama so im more inclined to production decision for this
