bc it is not from the same production even victor ma knows, first frost production also has clarified when he was announced in hl that sang yan in hidden love is not first frost sang yan. there were never unfair situation. they did not make the spin off because of the drama but rather because both sang zhi and sang yan novel are popular in china. the drama adaptation was announced last year, the cast rumoured already exist since then, and they released the poster in may 2023, way before hidden love was released

imo you can just treat this show as separate show from hidden love because sang zhi and duan jiaxu appearance was only few so just ignore it if you cant accept the cast change. in fact till now we still dk who is the final cast, the drama hasnt start filming and with cdrama the airing date is never guaranteed this drama could be released in 2026 fgs yall will slowly forget about this

that's why her fans doesnt like her management and hoping her to leave but i dont think the production of this is due to her management fault im totally blaming youku here it felt like there is corruption involve idk just like the legend of fei where they have big stars but the production is meh

as for me i prefer the long ballad more im still stuck at the first part of lltg i just dont like wu lei's character there it is not about his revenge or anything but rather how his position as a soldier and he keep being partial towards lusi's character openly it kind of irk me

youku hasnt released it which is odd they really be dropping ep as they like we get 1 ep only on first day at 8.40 pm and ytd they release 3 ep at 6pm they just doing anything they want smh

i havent read the novel so idk how serious it is in the beginning but one thing i do wish is for it to have more serious tone (i know it will in later episode) from the beginning (with the comedy of ren anle antics ofc) bc looking back on ep1 despite the poor cgi it was great haha

the transition from young di ziyuan to adult ren anle gave me chills, probably the music play a part 😂 but absolutely loving it i hope we can get dramatic bgm again in later ep
