bc it is not from the same production even victor ma knows, first frost production also has clarified when he was announced in hl that sang yan in hidden love is not first frost sang yan. there were never unfair situation. they did not make the spin off because of the drama but rather because both sang zhi and sang yan novel are popular in china. the drama adaptation was announced last year, the cast rumoured already exist since then, and they released the poster in may 2023, way before hidden love was released
imo you can just treat this show as separate show from hidden love because sang zhi and duan jiaxu appearance was only few so just ignore it if you cant accept the cast change. in fact till now we still dk who is the final cast, the drama hasnt start filming and with cdrama the airing date is never guaranteed this drama could be released in 2026 fgs yall will slowly forget about this
With Dilraba's popularity, I would've hoped her management would be more selective with her projects by this point👀…

as for me i prefer the long ballad more im still stuck at the first part of lltg i just dont like wu lei's character there it is not about his revenge or anything but rather how his position as a soldier and he keep being partial towards lusi's character openly it kind of irk me
youku hasnt released it which is odd they really be dropping ep as they like we get 1 ep only on first day at 8.40 pm and ytd they release 3 ep at 6pm they just doing anything they want smh
i havent read the novel so idk how serious it is in the beginning but one thing i do wish is for it to have more serious tone (i know it will in later episode) from the beginning (with the comedy of ren anle antics ofc) bc looking back on ep1 despite the poor cgi it was great haha
the transition from young di ziyuan to adult ren anle gave me chills, probably the music play a part 😂 but absolutely loving it i hope we can get dramatic bgm again in later ep
1. Ren Anle - are we surprised? i love crazy woman i know she is pretending but i love her crazy act she is just funny, charming and dilraba kill this role
2. Linlang - she danced twice, and both times she captivated me i normally skip these kind of scenes but hers was mesmerising that i watch it at 1.0x speed (i watch most drama at 1.25x speed lolol) and im interested about her
why are people mad at the way anle behave? why people only see it as romance scene do yall missed all the smile she lose whenever he is gone after acting all flirty with him?

i agree that we should get more built up about the family massacre bc i am not able to feel the sadness since it all happen too fast like maybe a first half of ep1 should have been totally dedicated to it
i see ppl complaining about the dubbing but im fine with both leads dub it doesnt bother me, i too would be bothered by some voice dub sometimes but im liking the one in the drama so far
start watching it with indonesian subs bc i can understand it a bit and it's definitely better than the eng subs but the first ep is good it definitely catch my interest and I LOVE REN ANLE!!!!
she is shamelessly flirting but not in embarassing way i like it and some scenes with ren anle gave me chills i just always love reba potrayal of confident woman it always work like it's my type of confident woman looks.
i thought the production would be really bad but it was okay it just not the level of S+ production as people expected which is disappointing but it wasnt too horrible, im definitely watching for the cast and story. contrary to others i do love the filters it add dreamy look to it lol but it really should be toned down at some scene, as for the cgi....i just wish it will get better it wasnt as horrible as ppl made it to be, it's funny indeed but i thought it would be worst (guess i already had low expectation in this aspect skksksk)
all in all, the cast deserve better idk why youku is doing this when they had a lot of time to make the drama great production wise, since it definitely has interesting story and interesting leads it deserve a good promotion too i hate when they always rely on actor popularity and do bare minimum when even big celebrity need promotion but so far i'm liking first ep
