I don’t watch musical dramas but I had to watch this because of Kim Min Jae and the teasers looked promising and I had a feeling I was going to love it even though it’s a genre I don’t usually watch. I watched ep1 and I loved everything about it, it gave me a peaceful vibe. Can’t wait to see how the story will unfold. This is my first drama of Park Eun Bin and she’s really an amazing actress as people say.
And it’s really refreshing to see a male lead who’s nice and not a jerk. Their awkward but cute interactions were the best and I think so many people relate to them. Their chemistry is so good <3
i agree. it woul dbe cool if the message was that truly there's no real savior and "law enforcement" isn't what…
I liked the fact that this show tried to be more realistic and to tell the viewers this is the bitter truth of what actually happens in the world and when Yoon Sang Mi said we’re humans it made me think how the police isn’t a hero always and they’re humans before they’re a police. I’ve always liked to become a cop and I might actually try to get into a police university and this made me think would I really do something like this? Would I prioritize my conscience as a cop or would I prioritize my conscience as a human being?
I thought since most international fans like crime dramas this would be quite popular internationally. I waited for this ever since the news of the cast came out and I was super excited for Jang Seung Jo’s and Lee Elijah’s first lead roles. I really hope more people come across this gem.
Omg sameee!! Second season with the same cast and this time the story focusing more on our cute couple xD
Ik you think Jisoo’s acting might be bad but don’t worry because at first she was trained to become an actress rather than an idol and the producer and the director are good and famous so I’m sure they wouldn’t choose someone who can’t act. I hope it’ll become super successful in Korea and internationally xD
I loved everything about this. I loved how they fooled us until the last minute. The last episode was the most exciting for me since everything got revealed in it and even though some people might think it’s rushed I actually like it a lot. I do have some mixed feelings about what they did to Oh Jong Tae...I understand he needed to be punished for what he did but was this the right way? When Do Chang said “you can blame me as a cop but don’t blame me as a human being” that wasn’t only directed at Ji Hyuk, it was directed at the viewers too; it’s like he knew what the viewers would be feeling. And we got the last cute scene of our detective and reporter couple. It’s so cute how they get embarrassed when Ji Hyuk says something that indicates he likes her. This drama wasn’t popular internationally but I’m glad it did well in Korea since that’s more important. This is a must watch for everyone and I would be so happy if they make a second season for this. Btw make sure to watch and support Jang Seung Jo’s upcoming drama ‘Snowdrop’.
OH.MY.GOD!!!!!!!! I loveeeee Jang Seung Jo and I was praying they would give him a role in this but I said to myself it’s unlikely to happen and then I JUST WOKE UP AND READ THE NEWS OF HIM BEING CASTED!!! I can’t believe this!!! This is the most shocking thing ever!! I’m just so happy!! xD
I thought the relationship chart isn’t initial but like for the whole show. My bad then. If there’s going to be romance between them then I just got more excited xD. Thank you for clearing that up for me :)
According to the relationship chart (Idk what exactly they’re called)...yes there’s only friendship between the main leads which is weird because the teasers tell me otherwise. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what will happen
yes it's double jeopardy. the show this kind of reminds me of is called "confession" and it's a lot more serious…
Ji Hyuk said they need something stronger to make him a suspect ad when Lee Dae Chul lied in court the verdict was confirmed but does that mean Oh Jong Tae was acquitted even though he was never confirmed as a suspect (the people protecting him did everything to not make him a suspect)? And it’s weird it was proved the cctv is fabricated yet no one questioned why was it fabricated if Oh Jong Tae had nothing to hide...what I'm trying to say is they didn’t even check all the facts for him to even be acquitted because powerful people were protecting him. Honestly I’m just confused about how this whole being acquitted thing works because I thought you need to be a suspect and go to court for it and when your innocence is proved you’ll be acquitted.

Thank God we both like it xD
Now that you said that I think what you said is definitely a possibility and now I’m more curious to know if Ji Hyuk really did something like that.
From what I remember Ji Hyuk said their main goal is to prove Lee Dae Chul is not guilty since they had his alibi but they didn’t have enough evidence to charge Oh Jong Tae and that’s why they focused on proving Lee Dae Chul’s innocence and when Lee Dae Chul lied about killing Detective Jang he was found guilty...they tried to make Oh Jong Tae a suspect but even that didn’t happen so Oh Jong Tae never really got acquitted since the retrial was for proving Lee Dae Chul’s innocence so that means Oh Jong Tae doesn’t have the double jeopardy clause protecting him. There are three possibilities: 1. The writer made a mistake which is weird since that rarely happens in dramas nowadays. 2. We missed something. 3. There’s something we haven’t seen yet.
I’ve been waiting for like forever for this to start airing and it got postponed for the current COVID-19 issue going on but it’s ok since nothing is more important than the actors and actresses’ safety and health. I hope the actor who tested positive gets well soon.
yes it's double jeopardy. the show this kind of reminds me of is called "confession" and it's a lot more serious…
I don’t think Ji Hyuk would really try to trick him since Oh Jong Tae has so many lawyers and they will obviously explain everything to him about law so even if he did try to trick Oh Jong Tae it would be useless...I don’t really think what Do Chang did was ‘dirty’ he lied so he could keep on being a cop in order to help Lee Dae Chul otherwise I’m sure he could careless about losing his job...Can we call it ‘dirty’ since his intention was good?
I actually have a problem with reading subtitles...I’m quite slow so it takes me so long to finish a episode because I take so much time to read them and sometimes I even read each line for like five times so I make sure I understand everything fully and that makes me barely miss any information which is why I got confused when you said Oh Jong Tae got acquitted because I remembered everything about the previous episodes so I think the writer just made a mistake but I guess we’ll have to see what will happen in the two remaining episodes...maybe Oh Jong Tae’s lawyers never explained anything to him and Ji Hyuk really did try to trick him. Btw, I agree about what you said about the poster, it makes you feel like it’s a light and funny crime drama but it's actually a lot darker. I’m sorry if I rambled and this got so long.
yes it's double jeopardy. the show this kind of reminds me of is called "confession" and it's a lot more serious…
I think the writer missed something here since Ji Hyuk said the retrial is over so you (Oh Jong Tae) won’t be punished even if you confess which means Oh Jong Tae IS being protected by the double jeopardy clause and that doesn’t make sense since he wasn’t acquitted. I wonder if there’s something we haven't seen (which is unlikely since there’s only two episodes left) or simply a mistake on the writer’s part.
They used to work at different stations back in 2015 (Do Chang was working at Incheon Station while Ji Hyuk was…
At that scene I was like ok he's definitely the killer of Jang Jin Soo but this drama had different plans for us and boom he’s not the killer...well at least he didn’t kill his partner considering the fact he’s so rotten.
I also think he would’ve been a great dad. His scenes with Ji Hyuk in ep14 were so cute and it looks like Ji Hyuk really enjoys being his partner (I just love it when the cold guy warms up to someone)...thank you Do Chang for giving us smiley Ji Hyuk (this was supposed to be about Do Chang but I just made it obvious I’m a sucker for Ji Hyuk xD)...anyways they’re definitely one of my fave bromances.

I searched double jeopardy just to understand this more but I’m still confused since it doesn’t make sense to me and I’ll make sure to give that show a try since I want to understand this more.
It’s obvious how even Ji Hyuk is fed up with her mindset and that’s why he stared right at her and said her boss is being charged with murder so can come to her senses. And am I the only one who feels like she’s trying to justify why he killed that cop?! I mean she knows he's a murderer yet keeps on defending him it’s just stupid. Just LOL
im only on ep 10, but for this one thing i'm ok with spoilers; does kang not know yet? i understand ji huk's perspective…
Congratulations on catching up! It was the perfect time since it’ll be over in 3 days (wow...I got depressed with just typing that).
Honestly I’m surprised at how he forgave her I mean aside from her lying in court she did and said some pretty bad things to him but I think he’s the kind of person who thinks about all the good times he had with the person and that makes him go soft on them. Tbh, I got annoyed at det Jang’s wife but now that I think about it I kind of understand why Do Chang didn't pressure her and you’re right most people would’ve pressured her and I’m happy with how Do Chang tries to be considerate of everyone.
I don’t live in Us but what you said is pretty horrible. In my country young adults get executed because of protesting so you can imagine how easily they’ll execute other people for bigger charges and obviously the chances of them being wrongfully accused is high and this mostly happens to powerless people and that just sucks but this show just reminded us of how bad and unfair the world can be.
Same, I thought it’s just someone’s imagination or a dream until I saw that scene of Do Chang standing in front of his ashes and I was in shock for five mins straight. Of course she won’t forget since she has her conscience so I think her apologizing would be better than her keeping it a secret forever at least I’ll feel a little bit better about it as a viewer.
I hope everyone who did wrong gets punished for their bad deeds and of course (as you said) Eun Hye and her family live a happy life.

Yeah and with the ending of episode 14 (I read your comment about catching up to all episodes xD) the romance is definitely slowed down. She’s way more focused on what her boss has done than her relationship with Ji Hyuk.
Never knew I needed Go Ara and Lee Jae Wook as a couple until it happened. Been anticipating this drama ever since the news of them being main leads came out.
And I love Go Ara’s acting. Her acting in Miss Hammurabi was so good she even made me cry. Of course everyone can have their own opinion but I just think she doesn't deserve this much criticism.
I can already see the chemistry between the main leads from the teasers and the photoshoot they did together and now y’all expect me to accept them only as friends in the drama?!
