Currently reading the webtoon and I'm still on Suho's team since the beginning, I really can't ship Joo Gyung…
Yeah it’s obvious he wants her back but doesn’t want to ruin her relationship with Seo Jun and also his own friendship (kind of) with Seo Jun but I’m pretty sure they changed so many things from the webtoon maybe Suho doesn’t leave at all in the drama ver and then we’ll see what would’ve happened if he never left.
same! i love how this drama shows what reality is. i just finished it last night and i still can't move on. wishing…
Yep I also loved how they portrayed that the police aren’t always righteous and they sometimes pull some stuff to catch a criminal which is way more real than those shows where the police are always righteous (like come on I think we all know the police aren’t as righteous as they show in tv series). It’s been three months since I finished this and I haven’t been able to finish another drama after this. Hoping for a season 2 because they have enough content to make another season. (No don’t worry English isn’t my first language either and your grammar is great :D)

I’m pretty sure he’ll get better as he explores different roles. I’m looking forward to his improvement because if he improves then he’ll definitely be one of the top actors :)

It’s actually on my watchlist so I’ll definitely watch it:) Ah I’ve heard stuff about his acting not being too good but I really hope he’s improved since his co-stars are great at acting and if his acting isn’t that good people will keep on pointing that out
I've been a Seojun shipper since the beginning and looking from the cast, they probably won't follow the webtoon
Yeah same here. I mean it’s a kdrama after all where the second lead rarely gets the girl. The amount of heartbreak we’re going to feel is making me anxious :(

This is my first Cha Eun Woo drama so I’m looking forward to his acting xD I do pity Suho because in the webtoon he just seems so depressed that he lost Joo Gyung and I sometimes do wonder what would’ve happened if he never left but since the webtoon is ongoing I’m curious as to how they’re going to end it. Super excited for this :D
This show is in the league of Stranger but has much more Korean humor and family scenes and may not travel well…
Yeah I’m also thinking the same thing. They didn’t think it’d make it big because of not having a popular cast or writer/PD. I was also surprised with how good it did in Korea considering zero promotion. I was waiting for an OST but sadly nothing was released. Even the album with the background music wasn’t released which is super weird.

Everyone is on team Suho at first (including myself) but that changed for lots of people after Seo Jun came in the picture. I also couldn’t really ship Seo Jun and Joo Gyung at first but it all changed. Though I’m super happy to meet someone who’s been on Team Suho since the beginning until now. But definitely let me know if your opinion changes once you start watching the drama xD
Tbh I am on both team, if I had the choice I would want the main ships to be Seojun x Suho but you know I can…
Wait Suho x Seo Jun is awesome!! Same here at first I was on team Suho but after Seo Jun came into the picture it slowly changed. And honestly I was one of those people who wasn’t sure if Hwang In Yeop was a good choice for Seo Jun or not (of course there wasn’t any kind of dislike towards him I’m talking more about the looks but after all what’s important is the acting not if he resembles Seo Jun) but that also changed when I saw him in the teasers. But good choice for waiting to decide after a few episodes. Maybe I should wait too since there’s a possibility my opinion might change xD

Yeah and the airing date got pushed back because of the COVID situation so they had lots of time to promote it until the airing date but I have no idea why they didn’t. I actually found out about it completely on accident so I’m pretty sure lots of people don’t even know this exists. I also rarely saw posts about it on instagram too but I’m glad it did well in Korea since that’s more important for the cast and the production team.
Oh man I already have major second lead syndrome just from the teasers (of course I was on team Seo Jun from the start but with Hwang In Yeop playing as him it even got stronger) So before this starts tell me who’s team you’re on and do you think you might switch sides after watching it?

Wow I didn’t expect anyone to reply after 3 months xD I’m still sad because this deserved so much more recognition and it’s still one of my all-time favorite kdramas :)
I don't think that you should believe in every review that you see here , not everyone's active on MDL + not every…
Same here. So many stuff happened to Song Ah in ep12 from that professor telling her she only gathered talented students to manager Park telling her Joon Young’s schedules cancelled because of that rumor going around and that group chat where people said Park Joon Young is too good for her. Like no one would be able to keep their confidence hearing those stuff including all the people here being upset with Song Ah. It’s something that happens daily to so many people so I expected more people to actually understand her not criticize her. And it’s always like this when the bad characters change everyone starts to love them but when a good character has a small character development people are mad, a bad character has lots of stuff to change but a good character only has little so it’s only natural we haven’t seen too much character development from song ah. We have 4 episodes to go and so much can happen in 4 episodes so we’ll have to wait and see. And I’ll binge watch the rest of the episodes after the drama is done.

I’m saying this based on what you told me. I understand why Song Ah would take so long to overcome her insecurities. This is a drama so people expect things to move forward fast but I think the writer is trying to say this is real life and I’m not going to rush the character development just because it’s a drama. Every single person needs lots of time to overcome their hardships and insecurities and I think it’s actually understandable why Song Ah is having a hard time to overcome her insecurities fast...I mean literally everyone is trying to put her down and if any other person was in her shoes they’d feel the same. Thank you for explaining everything to me. I wasn’t going to drop this since I love Min Jae and Eun Bin but I was very curious as to what happened suddenly that made so many people upset. I also agree you can’t really trust the ratings and you should watch a drama yourself to judge it. Once again, thank you :)
I put this on hold because I couldn’t keep up with everything I was watching but I watched some spoilers and checked the comment section each week after the new episodes came out but this week all I’m seeing is negative comments. Maybe I didn’t understand everything since I only saw some spoilers but is this really turning out bad? And the ratings dropped too and it’s not no.1 on top airing shows anymore. Can someone enlighten me about what happened that made everyone upset?
When I read the webtoon, at first I was on team Suho but now I’m on team Seo jun and since this is a kdrama Joo gyung will probably end up with Suho because he’s the ML (it rarely happens in kdramas for the second ML to get the FL) and at first I didn’t really know how to feel about Hwang In Yeop and I’m not a big fan of Cha Eun Woo either (no hate to him it’s just personal preference) so I knew I had to watch the drama to decide whom I like more but I watched Hwang In Yeop in 18 again and I liked him and I like Seo jun more in the webtoon so I have a feeling I’m going to be on his side in the drama as well and that means...second lead syndrome :( Unless the production team make this an exception and make this one of those kdramas that the FL ends up with the second ML.
Ep10 was so heartbreaking. I was so worried from the beginning of the drama about Detective Shin’s reaction when he finally finds out Yeo Na died and it really did break my heart when it actually happened. I cried the whole time during the scene him and Yeo Na were sitting beside each other. I know everyone at the village died unfairly and their stories are really heartbreaking but Yeo Na and Jun Ho’s story breaks my heart differently to the point my only concern about this drama right now is them not getting a happy ending. The drama would leave a bitter memory for me. I’m hoping for a plot twist like her being in a coma or something. Just anything that indicates she’s not actually dead even though the chances of stuff like that happening is super low. I really hope it won’t be a sad ending for them because I don’t know how I’m going to get over the heartbreak of that.
