I'm watching Kunning Palace now and it is good!

Watched this because I need more of the male lead after watching pursuit of jade but it was too slow and had no compelling story. Good for a slow romance rainy day.

I am a kdrama fan but decided to give this a try and it swept me in from episode 1. Amazing chemistry, strong female yet delicate and I have a new crush in the drama world! Storyline was good and well paced. 40 episodes seemed intimidating until I realized it was only 30 mins each.

For a kdrama without any romance, the storyline held my attention enough to be curious about a 2nd season. Maybe in the next season we find out who gets the girl? Could it be the ex or the young family tycoon.

Love the twist that I did not see coming! Reminded me a lot of "Its ok to not be ok" Well done!

Agree...he lost character credibility when he didn't stand up for Mi Seon getting bullied at work. It could have been a 12 episode show.

Lol...I did the same! It's over now onto something better.

Struggling to finish this drama, I'm on episode 13.

I just finished 1994 tonight and there is one episode where the cast from 1997 make an appearance. You wouldn't know unless you watched 1997. Personally having watched all 3 now, 1997 is my least favorite compared to the other 2.

No the stroylines and characters are not connected. But if you had to choose one I recommend 1988
