Of course it's a fairy tale. Where else would would you find a Prince as charming as Sun?

Speaking of perfection, almost none of the actors in BL are perfect. Joss, has an amazing body but quite a lot of scarring on his face. Miko has some hair challenges. Even Boat from Golden Blood, has a tiny flaw, a very mild case of strabismus (an affliction shared with Tay Tawan). Even New Thitipoom, whom I would consider the cutest BL actor of all time, has some scarring on his cheeks. Nevertheless, all of these actors are extremely attractive and play their roles quite effectively.

Especially Sun.

I am curious, how would you describe New Thitipoom from Dark Blue Kiss (and many more BLs)? He's sexy but also cuter than Boat in Golden Blood.

Boat is far beyond Miko Gallardo in the sexiness quotient (which, admittedly, is a very high bar).
No one, and I mean no one, does stubble like Boat has done in his role as Sun. Its absolutely mesmerizing.

Bank is amazingly cute, and I like his performance. Boat is the sexiest BL actor I have ever seen, anywhere anytime.

You're overlooking Boat's effective portrayal of Sun. He's amazing.

I have to admit Sky is still annoying at times. He should just realize how special Sun is and give him some space.

I didn't think the episode was funny at all. It was very poignant seeing Sky so devoted to Sun. I love this series.

My own take is that Boat is a very good actor. His role is to play to someone who never had a mother or friends growing up from a young age. Basically his whole life he has trained to be a body guard for Sky. Sun is supposed to be very stiff and awkward.

There are a sea of pretty and cute Thai actors, in my estimation few could pull off the role of Sun as well as Boat has.

Many of your comments I agree with. Certainly LBC2 was terrible and I also found Manner of Death dreadfully boring.

I recently watched all 30 episodes of Advance Bravely. Although from (mainland) China and not Taiwan, I found the story/acting/production vastly superior to many Thai BLs recently released. This is even without an explicit love declaration (or faked kissing) between the main characters.

I would take exception to your criticism of Golden Blood. I like the story and Boat is one of the sexiest BL actors I've seen in any series. Gun I'm not so crazy about. He's not terribly convicing as an actor.

I agree Boat is one of the handsomest men I've ever seen. He is mesmerizing in his role as Sun.

I agree Boat is among the most handsome BL actors ever. He lights up the screen. His "confession" scene in ep. 5 is so beautifully scripted and played by him.

After watching ep 4, I am convinced it is humanly impossible for anyone to be as beautiful as Boat is in his role as Sun.
