I've finally got around to starting this series on youtube. I was hesitant, given what I have heard about the Chinese Government's censorship of the series' content.
Well, I am about 1/3 through and I am so glad I gave this series a chance. Even without any kissing and/or sex scenes the romance between the two main characters is so realistically drawn. So many Thai BL series the kissing scenes are obviously forced anyway.
My only criticism is the main character's voices sound dubbed (especially Xia Yao). I don't know why this would be the case as the actors are apparently native Chinese speakers.
The main character actors are all incredibly attractive.
The acting is a bit cringe and I just can't stand Boat. Anyway am glad pple are enjoying the show.. hopefully…
I couldn’t disagree more. The camera loves Boat, he is the epitome of smoldering good looks. I loved this first episode and look forward to seeing how this plays out.
I swear Deun is cutest when he said My boy to Meen . I swear i felt butterflies. I am so happy GMMTV is giving…
Quite unexpectedly, Duean has become one of my favorite characters in this show. Neo has a great sense of comedic timing. He's been a perfect brother for Pi.
This is not the first Pinoy BL to feature a soundtrack with roosters constantly crowing louder than the actor's dialog. There were also a few gaps in the storyline.
I'm half way through the first episode, unfortunately the story is lame so far. I loved MY WAY and Aki was great in that series. I'll give it another episode, if it doesn't improve bye bye.
I think I'm forever spoiled by A Tale of a Thousand Stars.
As I said in my previous post, I try to list down my 10 most favorite scenes: 1. Counting stars scene - EP 9It…
"6. Phupha & Tian in party scene - EP 1 No dialouge, only both of them passing each other, and their hands brushed each other + the spectacular music = magical!"
It's curious you mention this because when I first saw that scene, it was understated, yet so powerful, I KNEW this was going to be a great series from that moment on.

My favorite scene is at 07:58 in Episode 1 part 4, when Phupha "catches" Tian as he is falling due to loss of consciousness when they first meet. It is just so beautiful.
A lot of people like this show. What part of this is so hard to comprehend???? Let people like what they want…
I gave ATOTS a 10. I loved it. I also loved My Day, which some others hated. I've watched series that I rated 6 and others went crazy for (like "In the Movies"). So watch what you like.

Pond as Mork is doing a credible job. I hope the storyline improves as it is only marginally interesting so far (through episode 4).
