I watched part of her modern dramas and yes, she sounds the same. I thought it was decent enough and she sounds fine here too to me. There are some actors/actresses who sound monotonous and those I can't...I rather they get dubbed.

This drama is getting a lot of attention. Just the view of the teaser 2 on JCW's IG alone exceeded 10 million. And considering he posted it rather late. So don't be surprised with the multiple articles.

But BaiLu does not even have a baby voice. YangMi I like but I can understand why others may find her voice annoying. The person was criticizing BL's enunciation but to me, she sounds good enough for a palace drama. This is BL's first period drama I'm following.

What's wrong with BL's speech? Someone made a slur about her way of speaking but she sounds perfectly fine to me. At least she's not the one slurring.

Boring? I can't tell cos 2 teasers in, I want to watch the show like yesterday. I couldn't get past ep 1 of HTCCC but I like another show in the same genre, Meet Yourself. So not all shows in such genre are boring. Some really knows to warm your warm from start to finish.

I hate musicals...I fall asleep in those Disney productions. But The Sound of Magic was great. I actually re-watched it a few times. The lead actress was also great.

Xie Chang Er, the scout, is Guan Ji in Only for Love that I'm also watching. I like him a lot. Let's see what develops between him and the fiery gal. The ex-crown princess consort is someone to watch for too...it seems she and also Li Ni's father are all covering up the real Li Ni by painting him as a good-for-nothing.

Why is this rated so low? The 4 episodes so far are good. I love it! The 2 leads have good chemistry and their fighting scenes are great.

For me, it got better by ep 6 and I enjoyed ep 7 & 8. I fast forwarded the earlier episodes. Couldn't stand the biz jargons and also not too impressed with Dylan's character. But I think I'll continue watching.

I've never watched a Bai Lu's drama. Nothing against her just that the stories were either too painful to watch or I didn't like the male lead. So I gave this a try cos I quite like Dylan. TBH, I had to fast forward the scenes a lot in the beginning but by ep 6, it got better and I enjoyed last 2 episodes. FL's messages to ML are cute. I'm also watching for her bestie and Guan Ji. So far, their story seems quite intriguing.

Someone mentioned before the Bai Lu and Li Yitong have some resemblance. I didn't see it till now. Yeah...they do look quite alike at certain angles.
