This is killing it. I caught a segment of the anime and this adaptation is so close. I don't understand why some Cnets are criticizing the actors. My faves are Wang Ye and Feng Bao Bao.

Yeah, the OST! I love the og version too. It was in my head all day during the time I watched it. I couldn't relate to the K version. But I attribute it to a language barrier cos I hardly listen to Kpop.

For those of us who have watched the original, we can't help but compare. I watched the first few episodes of this remake and have to say the production quality is high. But the FL as a student isn't convincing for me. The Taiwanese actress, Alice Ko, was very convincing as the awkward, depressive student. Some people are gonna get offended but I think her smaller frame makes her more convincing as a teen. The two guys are okay though...they come across more natural.

SAME!!! I was thinking the male lead should be JCW. Haha. So WTS is kinda answered prayer. Also, this drama is so good I wanted to read the novel and then realized there is none.

When I was watching Meet Yourself, I kept thinking they should do a Korean remake of this drama and I would definitely watch it if it features my fave actors. Now they claim MY plagiarized HCCC? LOL.

Really? Hiaz...some people are too serious. Are you sure this drama is suitable for you? This is adapted from an ANIME. And ZCL is that unpredictable. It's just a funny scene.

I think you're right. Initially it seems the subs were bad so I won't be surprised if many just gave it up and rated it poorly.

Haha...I read the comment as a tongue-in-cheek made out of having to wait a few weeks for the drama. I also doubt FL has romantic feelings for SML. More like she gets involved in the case because it's a big case. Not sure though if she knows of ML's involvement at the onset. But I hope she'll come in and protect ML when the time is right. We'll see.

Same feelings. I was contemplating if I should just drop it but decided to fast forward from ep 34 and only watched the last 2 episodes more or less normally. It was an interesting drama at the beginning. The story ain't bad too but it's too draggy.

Lol. Maybe that explains the death glare the ML gave FL when they were both in their uniforms. 😒 I keep wondering if that scene is at the beginning or at the end. Doesn’t make sense at the beginning.

I glossed over those scenes. Like you, I much prefer their cute bantering.

The way Esther straightens her leg and kicks her opponents. 😍😍😍 The only thing I don't like about this drama is the very thick makeup on our ML, ZLH. I cringed when he cried for his dad cos it definitely ruined his makeup. 🤪
