This show was...amazing to me and very realistic. It's not a new concept but the hosts, the couples, the stories, reasons for breaking up and reasons for reuniting or Not reuniting were presented in a nice way. I also felt the host weren't super judgmental even if the couples reasons for breaking up seemed immature and childish they accepted each couple for who they once were. They were also not only supportive/respectful of the Recall person but also the EX being Recalled decision.
I thought I wouldn't like it because I'm used to watching love shows were they have 1-3 weeks in a house to decide but 1 day was actually enough to resolve the hearts of both the Recall person and the EX. I felt relieved that the some of the Recalled people could finally move on from the lingering feelings by participating in this show. I definitely teared up on a few episodes due to some of the sad breakup stories but also because sometimes you reunite and realize the two of you are different people now and you have to keep that EX you once loved so deeply as just a memory. I hope this show comes back for another season. I did read somewhere that the host GREE is in military now.
This was totally different from the Korean original. This version was too rushed for me, with weird, disjointed…
one of the reasons i'm procrastinating on watching again because the # of episodes is so short as well as the runtime of 30-45 min per episode being short. As a viewer I'd like to marinate in these love stories Lol. I saved it to my Amazon Prime list to Watch Later though.
Pls dont panic. Season 1 is rated 8.4 here on MDL. Currently the number of voters are very lesser. You wont see…
EXACTLY, thank you for bringing up the other dramas that are here that falll into that ambiguous category. It should stay, from my experience kisskh isn't lenient on approving a lot of things so it's here and so are the others you mentioned for a good reason.
One comment here asked why this drama is in MDL when it is American-made. I also think this should be removed…
--Shogun an American TV show is also here it includes Japanese actors and filming location includes Japan --Past Lives movie is Korean-Canadian also here, probably more to name but I watched these 2 for sure and loved them. --Pachinko is American TV show from what i read it includes majority Korean and Japanese actors and filmimg location include South Korea and Japan. Not only that but its based on a novel about South Korean American author and about family immigrating from Korea to Japan.
HIGHLY DOUBT they will remove it nor should they. Especially with Lee Min Ho, the older Sunja and the teen actor Noa being some of the lead actors in it. --There are plenty of low rating, 7.0-7.9 dramas that are on here that are great. --It would make more sense to remove IF ONLY 1 or 2 asian appeared in this drama and had the littlest or no relevance whatsoever to South East Asian entertainment
Umm only 1 episode per week noooo, the 1st episode was pretty good in my opinion. It picked up where it left off on season 1.
Ko Han Su was like “You really care about him” well yeah that’s her husband sir….and based on what you did to her in season 1 what type of reunion did he expect 💀 I hope to see much more of his character and their interactions because that reunion was too brief but the body language was kinda intense.👀
I would have loved a brief recap just to remind myself but as I got more in, I did remember. I love the scenes…
I was worried about this too but the 1st episodes Script writing did really well with subtly reminding me of what happened in season 1, like oh yea that’s her son, that’s her husband, that’s her ex lover, and that she’s trying to become a business woman…like somehow they made the storyline very familiar as if I watched season 1 yesterday
I only kept forgetting at times the storyline switches between past and present day Sun Ja
🔵There were a quite a few illogical and immature moments in my opinion. Most importantly to me and To keep it short I don’t feel the 2 main characters developed at all from teenage years to adult hood. I kept going for the romance between 2 leads and OST was 🔥.
❗️Kim Young Soo [Taxi driver] storyline very random, while it was suspenseful at 1st it dragged and he really had no purpose in pursuing a teen girl, backstory for his character would’ve been nice ❗️Kim Tae Sung was my only fav side character his character could’ve shined more, maybe integrated with the taxi driver a bit more since he followed in fathers footsteps to become a cop ❗️Scene between Im Sol's brother and Im Sol's best friend where the house almost burn down was very dumb when there was clearly a big fire and smoke in the air ❗️Seon Jae’s best friends band and storyline ALONG WITH Im Sol’s wheelchair/disability was short-lived ❗️Seon Jae’s swimming and band/singer storyline was lackluster, short-lived ❗️Im Sol disability in my opinion should have remained a lot of growth and character developed could’ve evolved based on her mindset from the 1st episode
🔵That’s only a few of my thoughts it would be too long and technical if I pointed out everything. I personally would recommend other dramas with the same genre/feel if a friend asked for recommendations. 🔵So 7.0 for entertainment purposes And 5.0 or 6.0 rating if I were a film/tv critique of some sort.
ok not me tearing up at the end, the message of this movie was conveyed well and the chemistry between the leads was nice too, ending gives off same vibes as Twenty One Twnety Five drama
I'm so ready for season 4, i hope there will be one. I feel there should be more dates or outings instead of cooped up in the house or more required in house activities. The program is short so the producers need to make everyday count. I'd rather there be more episodes than rushed content. And the most important change I hope they someday make is everyone who is casted to be there within 3 days not the llast week of the show Lol
