Thank you so much for saying that ;).You're so right, she's not as much frustrating as she was in the beginning…
Its in the way she stood up to the ex aka jerk and the employer. Rightly or wrongly. And it not being out, means no rushing through it, which would do the pacing a bit of a disservice. It is such a well made drama. And i'll stop before i start gushing. Lol
I love the article and agree with most points. While i agree that lins character is naive, and i see that in part they are doing that to emphasise the age diff imo, she also has her strengths and i like how she can stand up for herself.
This drama is epic, and one of my faves for this year, it is warm, funny, the friendships, the banter, its soo pretty and brings the feels. Kinda glad it not all subbed so i can savour it as it comes out, as like you, I would've completely binged it if it had been finished.
Anyone know how long we have to wait for some growth from the male lead?? I just finished episode 4, and it a simple and sweet drama, but the lead is starting to really, really irritate me. Someone help
Many thanks for this article as I wasn't going to go near this, as I am not a fan of the story. But after reading this went and watched a couple of episodes and it is fun. I like how its really not taking itself seriously, there are some very tongue in cheek moments.
I going to echo the early commentators, that baby sol is seriously the cutest thing ever. Ridiculously so, and the way they use her to highlight situations at times is gold.
Re the show, I also want to reiterate the get past the first few episodes to peeps new to the drama, i nearly dropped it early as the first couple of episodes were a little ott for me, but the show hits its rhythm after that and is a fun and enjoyable ride.
Park Hae Jin is the one who got me hooked on kdramas. I stumbled across man to man on netflix and it was the most id laughed in forever, i thought he was brilliant in that, and it led me to lookimg for more of his work and trying more asian dramas.
I dont know if that is a good thing though... I am now thoroughly obsessed, and have even gotten my father hooked on them. lol
Aaaarrrggghhhhh I cant believe they've kept Sam Jang as a placeholder character right til the freaking end, (well 2nd last episode anyways) i thought they would at least give her something with the dragon. But no. Seriously do the writers hate the actress playing her or what?????
The concept is fantastic, the visuals pretty... the cast insane. But the plot and the script are just off, tho there is the odd hilarious moment, but there are a few too many holes and when you make your female lead a mere placeholder... if i'd come across this show completed i wouldve skipped over half the episodes. But the cast have sucked me back each week and i'll end up watching through to end and pretty much enjoying it.
Just really wish they had done more with an IMO brilliant concept and characters, and such a talented cast.
But I am soo hooked on enemies from the past, the characters are cute as. And the half hr episodes are a great treat on the lunchbreak at work.

Had some faults, but a very sweet and enjoyable movie

Didnt think it would be my cuppa, but it was soo much fun. The leads were awesome

Its far from perfect, but such a warm drama with unique characters.
I enjoyed it muchly
That said, i actually really enjoyed it. It a pretty movie and watching a story seemingingly played out in fast forward was kinda fun.
But i am a bit weird.
Do i spoil myself with the ending to confirm-deny?
