I had a few problems with this drama... i didnt like any of the male characters outside her dad and the psych... and a few other bits and bobs, but the damn drama was so bloomin enjoyable. I am kind of spewing i completely glommed it within a few days.
Soo kyeong is my hero. She was awesome, and my fave part of the show.
This was really enjoyable. I find the short dramas a bit hit and miss. This was actually reasonably fleshed out, with a simple but enjoyable story and warm characters.
she does go back to her job though in a couple episodes laterbut then in eps 23-24, she wants to quit this time…
Many thanks! It was actually her saying yes to going out with him so easily straight after stressing the importance of the job that set me off. I has buttons. Sigh I might have to go back to it though... as apart from that it is a fun series
Mars is an awesome story... but there is too much to be crammed into 10 x 20min episodes. This drama isnt terrible, just too rushed and too much crammed in with no detail. Then there was also things ref'd that they didnt actually show.. Proof is in the final movie length episode (odd way to do things) where they had more time and it was much richer and gave you the feels that the story normally does. And the FL finally got her story.
1 2 and 6 prob resonate the most for me. Probably a cultural thing, but in relation to 6, what i cant forgive is the family who treat the lead like absolute carp, and it is fully accepted and rarely even acknowledged. They're not pulled up on it all, rarely appear genuinely apologetic, and yet continue to get unending support and be part of the happy ending. I just cannot deal with it.
I was all over this, until they totally backflipped on her professionalism and importance of her job. Why do they always do that with female leads in good jobs?? Argh
The humour in this show absolutely cracks me up, the leads are awesome with their delivery. I have inhaled the first 7 episodes in complete binge mode. 1st time in my shortish drama watching life, that I am spewing a Chinese drama is short. LOL
While i am having fun watching this.. just a warning.. the cops are really, really terrible. I dont think the writer has ever researched cops or procedures. There are soo many blunders. But it is a fun show
I had no interest in this apart from checking out ksh... but it has got me hooked like a fish. Its interesting reading the diverse comments below. I agree the 1st 2 episodes were rather chaotic, but the characters certainly grabbed my attention, and i eagerly await their back stories
I dont do melodramas normally, started this on a whim as several shows had finished.... so glad I did. Cant believe how good all aspects of it was, the script/dialorgue, the cinematography to the acting.... I was so invested in the characters, not just the mains, but the supporting cast as well, go sangman! I rode a rollercoaster of emotions each episode, and loved every minute of it. Going to miss it.

Everytime a character is shown crossing a road, i involuntarily yell WATCH OUT FOR THE TRUCK to my fams amusement.

I especially like the male lead who appears a walking mannequin picking on the female leads acting. Makes me roar every time.
