Ive adored this show all the way through. But episode 15 has murdered me, I am unsure whether i am even going to bother with 16 as there is no way they can resolve it all satisfactorily. Grrrrr argh
The synopsis reminded me of late 80s, early 90s action movies. And the first episode with its cheese and heavy side of mayo confirmed it. This old duck is a happy chappy. These tropes are always fun if you just sit back and enjoy the ride. (As long as you dont look too close at the scenery along the way lol)
I normally watch the 1st 3 episodes of a new drama to see if it worth investing in. But i didn't make it through the 1st. Seems like I may have made the correct call. I can handle bad acting, (I'm currently watching a chinese show where the ML is a barely animated ken doll, lol) But the ineffective female career woman hits my buttons.
Eun Tae was pretty much the only thing i liked about this drama. But somehow it kept sucking me back in, though i did skip 4 eps.
A side note, while I acknowledge that Joy is not a world beating actress, i thought she was ok and believable enough for her character to be my fave. A lot of comments on here and the streams, praise the male lead... i thought he was pretty bog average??? The script wasn't spectacular, but he brought nothing to the table with his character, he seemed a bit of a cardboard cutout. Though to be mean, the cutout might have more facial expressions.
They were vague asf with that. I'm assuming it helped keep her separated from him for the 3 yrs, so the cycle…
Oh i did forget the cafe scene. Well that rules me out on the darn charm then. Ntw Not saying that it a bad thing, but that the writers seemed to be inferring that the curse of the tree will play out again.
I enjoyed it, but I am still a bit confused. What exactly was the charm for? Did it get used? It seemed like every…

This was absolutely terrible... but actually kind of fun. But seriously, the acting, the script... everything was really, really bad. But kind of fun...

I think it may not have been enough time since i saw the original. I keep comparing.
Thanks!
Tho i'm arguing equally least proficient. ;D
