I don't like kids being threatened. They wanted I-Na to feel threatened and have her call someone. It ended up being the FL who answered the Father's phone. Too many coincidences here. Somehow it worked that the FL seems to have made a bond with the daughter but more important the Father realizes that I-Na needs a mother figure.

Not yet explained, but there may be a special connection between the two. Makes more sense that changing his ability mid course, I think.

i believe that she is searching for the secret imperial order issued by the previous Emperor naming the ML as his successor. That order would null the legitimacy of his brother, the current Emperor. Giving him an excuse to imprison or kill him. The new wife wants to destabilize the kingdom and possibly ruin the ML. They give mixed signals. First she wanted to kill him, then she agonized that he was the one who saved her. But I think that she craves a stable relationship with someone to love and respect her and give her the life as a true Princess. The story isn't finished about which way she'll turn.

Watched up to ep. 13. I think not really. There is a rival to the ML but he fancies his Nobel Consort. The Empress and the Nobel Consort's Father are pushing her to have a son with the ML. They try to break them up at times or more recently try to kill her. Hope this helps. This is a pleasant watch with the main couple pretty decent towards each other.

I know Liu Shi Shi from a Journey to Love and I never made the connection with her here. I should watch a few more of her dramas to see and appreciate her acting skills.

This is a really beautiful love story about discovering yourself and also finding your voice. Some have wondered why there was a year long break and why the FL avoided contact until she went to that spot. She already had reasons to know that he was the right one. I think that she needed time to show that she was in control of her life. That had she rushed to him, that she was only trading one dependency for another. Also it would make it seem to her ex, her friends and to us that her break up was because of Nianzu. She only found another man. But the year separation and keeping her distance at the funeral also shows that she is doing it for her own reasons. Not to please the powerful attraction that she feels towards Nianzu. The last minute spur of the moment to turn back to that spot shows that if they were to be together, he would show up there. Sometimes the stars align and against all odds, you get to meet and stay with the right one. I know it can occur. A lot of things had to happen for me to meet my wife on a mountain trail.

I don't think it will be confusing to watch. The story is fairly straightforward. None of the men nor women look too alike as often seen in idol dramas. They will show the year at the beginning of each scene when they jump between times. I've re-watched it many times so I've started to notice little things. it is a pretty sweet show. Watch and enjoy.
