That's OK. But this is quite enjoyable. How many episodes have you finished? 2022 Zhengyu has shown the most growth in the series. 2021 Zhengyu not so much. Jialan kinda has been peeled like an onion showing how she reacts to different situations. 2022 Zhengyu and 2021 Jialan's romance is sometimes quite sweet, bittersweet and funny. Take care.

uhm, agree, but they have to try things one at a time. Are you at ep. 18? If so, then your question might be answered. Neutering the brother puts Jialan in serious danger.

By ep. 5, 2022 Zhengyu has become interested in Jilan, but she remains distrustful of his motives. They bumped into each other last episode investigating the two brothers. As the fallout from that case continues, 2021 Zhengyu surprises Jialan by going after the demolition company. This will help the brothers. They start to respect each other's abilities and professionalism. Jailan is surprised that Zhengyu will help the small people. When drunken Mu shows up in the apartment, 2022 Zhengyu becomes jealous. 2022 Zhengyu is trying to stop the ex-girlfriend, but she is too slippery. Ha ha, you're right, but any real time depiction would take much more than 24 episodes, unless severe editing removed dead time. We just have to accept it. lol.

Zhengyu favored a more conservative approach that would have the least affect on their future. That's why he mentions the butterfly effect. But as things became more serious, 2021 Zhengyu became more proactive. This is till the end of ep. 18. Whether it is wise or not, you have to see it.

The FL and ML never stray for another but the FL doesn't want the ML to have a future with regrets.
