I think that the misunderstanding between Yang Mingzhi and Xiao Jue wasn't presented clearly. The drama focus's on Jue hitting Mingzhi because he suggested maybe there is no hidden truth, that his Father....
But the divorce with Hua Youxian came because he drank over some problem eating at him. When his Father kicked him out, he said two things, marrying a courtesan, but also defending a traitor against his Father. The latter was the I'm worthless that he couldn't reveal to his wife. Keeping a secret from his wife and not allowing her to share that burden. When He Yan lectures him, there were two implications. That is why Xiao Jue tells him that Jue's Father's conviction had no connection to him. He starts with that. Not with making up with his ex-wife. Mingzhi paid a severe cost for trying to help his friend and keeping it a secret. Divorced, being kicked out of his Family, stuck with a dead end job. It is not the only instance in the drama where people tried to help in secret.

He Yan and Xiao Jue were a pretend couple, but he backs her up completely as his wife. The rematch at the banquet was less decisive but the girl's talk at the gazebo was liberating.

I've been adding title, episode and time stamps for many recent youtube vides on this drama. So I've been ff episodes to get the info. But stop and watch those scenes where the main couple have important moments. The last three episodes have some moving scenes. Not a waste of time.

Three fights in an episode. I think that the fights were choreographed well and that she fought them well. A near balanced fight is much more interesting than an obviously unequal one. I think that many viewers believe that drama generals (and drama CEOs) should be the best at everything. And many dramas fall into that. But the general is like a coach or a manager, not the star player.
