Director here Zhong Qing is not Zeng Qing Jie from Blossom. But the co-director Guo Feng is the same in both. Zhong Qing directed In Blossom (2024) which I enjoyed. It will also probably depend on the screen writer but I can't out who it is.

There are things that are hard to track down. AI answers are a crap shoot as I've seen AI answers that were just wrong. CPOP Home and the Baidu page make no mention of who the boy is.
