Different but My Royal Nemesis is pretty good.
I thought ep. 2 was more interesting than ep. 1. I've re-watched a few times. Grandma, reading the journal and interviewing for a job. Loved those scenes. Thank you.

Wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute back this puppy up how does that dude get shot in the head and is still…
Food for thought.
Also,
Girls who have had half their brain removed (a procedure known as a hemispherectomy) often thrive, with the remaining hemisphere reassigning functions through remarkable brain plasticity.Common cases involve treating severe epilepsy, such as:Jessie Hall: Underwent surgery at age 6, and years later was thriving, playing basketball, and attending school.Mora Leeb: Had the left side of her brain removed at 9 months old, allowing her right side to take over; at 15, she was playing soccer.Mikisa: Had surgery to treat debilitating, daily seizures.Key Outcomes and Facts:Reason for Surgery: Performed to stop life-threatening seizures caused by conditions like Rasmussen's encephalitis, severe epilepsy, or developmental issues.Brain Plasticity: Especially in children, the remaining hemisphere can take over many functions of the missing half, such as language and motor control.Recovery and Functioning: While it may result in some physical limitations, such as weakness on the opposite side of the body or vision loss, children often grow up to live full, active lives.Long-Term Impact: Patients can return to school, play sports, and live independently, with many remaining seizure-free.

People have been shot in the head and still lived.
Surviving a gunshot wound to the head is rare, with fatalities around 90%, but recovery is possible, particularly with prompt, aggressive neurosurgical intervention. Surgery often involves hemicraniectomy (removing part of the skull) to manage severe brain swelling, along with debridement to remove bone fragments and damaged tissue.Key Aspects of Survival and Recovery:Survival Rates: Roughly 10%–15% of penetrating gunshot wounds to the brain result in survival.Surgical Management: Surgeons frequently remove skull fragments and foreign material but often leave bullet fragments in place if removing them causes further damage.Skull Removal (Hemicraniectomy): This technique removes a portion of the skull to allow the brain to swell outward rather than being crushed inside the rigid skull.Recovery Challenges: Survivors often face long-term rehabilitation, with approximately 50% experiencing seizures.Prognostic Factors: Younger age, higher preoperative Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score, and lack of pupil abnormalities indicate a better prognosis.Case Studies: While rare, some patients, like former U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords, have survived with intensive rehabilitation despite severe injuries.

I have a theory The reason she was portrayed as villainous might actually be because she was too ahead of her…
The synopsis describes her a villainous but it doesn't seem so in the two episode. She fights for survival. Possibly she was married to the king because of her ability to foresee danger. She could have been framed by the queen. But the king had ordered her killed because her loyalty remained with the man with the mask.

which scene? do you have the link?
When the three ladies were sitting on the interview and she react to the middle one talking about her life goal of being a wife and mother. . The ML was outside and heard the FL's pithy response and became intrigued and that's why he entered the room.

Bromance is straight... 2026 and there are still people who don't know what bromance is.
Googled - Did the director of Oh! No! Here Comes Trouble say that it was about BL.
The director of the 2023 Taiwanese drama Oh! No Here Comes Trouble did not explicitly market or label the show as a Boys' Love (BL) drama. It is officially categorized as a supernatural fantasy, comedy, and detective drama.Genre & Tone: The series focuses on friendship and supernatural mysteries, though many viewers noted strong bromance vibes and intense chemistry between the two male leads, similar to BL storylines.Viewer Reception: While it is not a "pure" BL, fans often discuss it in similar circles due to the close relationship and emotional development between characters Pu Yiyong and Cao Guangyan.Production Context: The show is lauded for its unique script and acting, highlighting a trio (two male leads and one female police officer) working together rather than focusing on a conventional romance. Therefore, it is considered a supernatural show that fans often interpret as having BL-like elements, rather than a show officially designated as a BL drama by its creators.
I favored that Pi Yiyong would get closer to Chen Shu Ying. She fills one need and Cao Guangyan fills another. Thank you.

Yeonwi Chamber looks run down from the outside. We first see it thru some leaves. There are dried vines hanging from the eves. In the after scene, there are leaves on the ground. The pond and bushes above the wall are not well maintained. There seems not to be any attendants around. The other palace maids chose to bully and abandon her there.

The knife commercial mentioned being a palace maid. She knew Chinese by mastering the original Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

The previews for the next episode shows him shooting an arrow at her and later her bowing before his chamber and nether locations look run down. So it appears that she knows him before she became a consort. Did the Emperor choose break them apart? Was her power the reason then and will it be a source of danger now? Thank you.

Lots of good thinking there. Thank you.
I wonder if what sent the past ML to the exile house also caused her to be sold as a slave. Same household? Maybe that is why Court Lady Kim supported her. But she didn't recognize the current ML and she met him with the mask but did not show recognition. Take care.

I don’t understand the ratings on this app. This drama is rated 8.1, but it really feels more like a 6 or 7…
Tastes are subjective. I'm enjoying it. She is a mixture of entitlement and pluck. She did run away after being sold as a slave. We don't know where she acquired her martial arts skill or what her family was like. I suspect she was connected with the ML with the scar and mask. and what landed him in that exile house was also the reason why she was sold as a slave. I can re-watch her scenes and still laugh or sympathize. and her eyes.... expressive in a funny way. anyway, hope that you can find a drama that you like. This is about the only drama that I am currently following after Pursuit of Jade. Take care.

Pretty good. She's not really a villainess though.
Reflecting after viewing the whole episode 2. That quarter mask really didn't hide his face, but there had to be a reason why she didn't immediately recognize him. (just like if they later show her riding a horse in the past, riding in the car shouldn't make her uncomfortable) Seems that she meets the ML while a maid of the palace and before she became Royal Consort Hui. But it looks like the ML is the reason why she was accused of adultery. In the past Mundo is the Emperor and the ML might be the legitimate ruler. Perhaps she had used her power to protect him from assassination and because of her power needed to be taken out. In the present she knows that the Emperor had her killed, but not why or that he is plotting against the ML in the present.
