I wonder if the red scarf will turn up again, like in Jihye watching Seok Jiwon crying his guts out and then him throwing it into the trash. If she has it and gives it to Su Jiwon, it could be an apology and change Su JW's mind about Seok JW. When you think about it, two very intimate promises were perceived broken on that night.

I think that what she thought was his ghosting her lay the groundwork for her fragile psyche. Then the double whammy of the suit and her parent's death pushed her over the edge. She knows nothing about his actions since then. His concerned watching, but hesitant to approach. And when her Grandfather asked for his help about the golf course, he declined to get involved. He certainly is more guarded in interacting with people and approaching her compared when they were in school. One difference is that she wears her emotions on her shoulders while his is guarded behind aloofness. I guess the charm is in the enemies to lovers progress. She gave him her heart and she thinks he trampled on it. The cut, the scars are very deep. If she didn't love him so much, she wouldn't hate him so.

Kinda. At the banquet, she and perhaps he were supposed to die. He asked his aide to give her a proper funeral. Why his aide and not him may be because he would be dead, too. Or he would be severely incapacitated, so that he couldn't give orders.

Thank you for your comment. For some reason they will give a hint of a smile. After the two kisses at the end of ep. 9, as she turns away, her mouth widens slowly and slightly hinting at a smile. She enjoyed that. If it weren't for the blood feud.... The same happened at the very end of ep. 20. Too bad that here they had to follow the web novel as Jinghe could have suffered as atonement for his sins as he tried to save Mei Lin from the Momai poison.

I believe that this drama came out when the censors came down hard on certain themes. One was time travel. The ending could not use time travel so it was usually said to be a dream. There were various reasons given to justify the ban, but it seems the certain historical events and personage have been codified and should not be seen to be changed, even in fiction.
