I believe it coincided with restrictions on time travel. So the HE ending is less obvious. See my post above on how he was there and not visually there at the end.

I think that the time travel restrictions made them give us this hidden HE. See my post above on how it wasn't an illusion but he could be there without showing him. Also, it was clearly his voice that called her and she did smile.

Yes, he did. You have to carefully watch the extra scene at the end where she hears him calling her name. She looks across the street at the bus pulling away. And then the shot of her looking with the departing bus reflected in the glass behind her. We don't see him in either shots, but there is a portion of the bus stop masked by her body. She is looking straight ahead and in that direction. That is where he is. That's why she smiles and why we don't see him. When I first posted this comment in 2022, another fan said that this is what the director or writer intended. Why they chose to torture us like that is not known.

Yes, I think so, too. Bad luck that dramacool went TU and the new dramago didn't load it. Lost potential viewers who missed this gem.

Have you tried Revenge of Reborn Princess (2024) It's not flashy like Kill Me Love Me but it's one of a number of recent dramas that hint at a happy ending. Fate's Crossing Nan & Ke (2024) is the third. in Revenge... the FL Wen Wan is sharp, very sharp and the love story is sweet. Almost Delicious (2024) is at times funny, at times poignant and at times sweet. Take care.

There should be a yellow circle with a white H next to it. There are only a limited number of mostly recent and popular dramas on it so far. You can post comments episodes on Discus there. They did away with the actors part. Too bad. That was very important to me. Take care.

The more I re-watch it, the better it gets. Some loose threads in the last rebirth. Is the Musician Lady reborn as the waitress who was bothered by the customer in ep. 19? Zhuo's sister Xueji now has a tea house. Is it the Flower Pavilion which Lady Wen just acquired or is her tea house part of the Flower Pavilion? We don't see Zhuo last two episodes, is it because he killed the FL in ep. 6? The last three episodes are very sweet.

Some giggle moments (The fly and later the trash bags) and some moving moments. (Mr Shu sees the old restaurant and Feng Meng as a child) Getting better and better as the couples get together.

ep. 10 The penny drops for the ML when he tasted the cold noodles with the popsicle added. He saw the old kitchen and then Feng Meng as a child. He is going to know who the man is on the other side of the wall. Some sweet tears watching it and more to come as the Father and Meng get to say goodbye.

When I watched the end, I caught the hint of a smile on her face, eyes and mouth slightly widening before the fadeout. She knows and is happy. I had wondered what the director and writers had intended. The Su Family survived because the now King of Dongque, Baili Jingxing killed the King of Nanyuan and avenged her Father's death. Had Su Nanyan tried to kill her King, then her Family would have been wiped out. I suspect that Su Nanyan sat out the brief war and may have gone into hiding. Without the Su General and his aides, the Nanyuan army probably couldn't put up much resistance. When Baili left the grave site, Su Nanyan grabbed his arm and you could see the red thread with green beads. The woman at the end also had the red thread with beads, so she was Su Nanyan and probably also Zhao Qingqing. I guess it is intended that both inhabit the same body. So it is a happy ending.
