I had to think about this with the caveat that tastes may differ. i like the main couple and liked Sabrina Zhaung since Miss Chun is a Litigator. From several days distance, the breakups were perhaps one too many, but it was important to the story. Tang Xiao Tian's character is made to play his cards close to his chest, so if you like his character, it's OK, but he may come off as cold and sometimes clueless. This is the first time to watch him. Huang Fu Jie who play Gongyang Mocai, from a rival department at work is interesting. Both he and the ML are respectful to their Mothers but not mama's boys. The ML's love rival, Su Jinning, a childhood friend of the FL played by Lin Feng Song is written more annoying but it was and is one sided. I may have seen him as Yan Luo [Rain God, Son of Heavenly Empress] in Beauty of Resilience, but stopped watching it early on. Mumu the senior to the FL, played by Cheng Zi was Princess Yun Shang in Destined. Watch from 31:41 in ep. 2 to get an understanding of the main couple's relationship for pretty much of the drama. So I enjoyed it and impatiently waited for the last three episodes to air. Hope that this is useful

It is smooth sailing for the couples from ep. 22, but some people die that shouldn't have in the ep. 23.

It's not too bad. It isn't like The Killer is Also Romantic as there is a larger ensemble here so the cat and mouse game is leavened with third wheel and second couple distractors. This drama is perhaps intended as a showcase for younger actors. Ep. 22 had a nice fight scene where the main couple fought back to back with the OST playing. They should have made that kind of scenes the focus of the story. Give it a try.

The Su young Master is now involved with the Family business. Expect to see him probably in the next episode. I guess he will become a mole.

I think the the writers wanted tension with the Hu younger daughter and the nonsense about concubines. Even with the divorce, she was marked for death.

This drama was kinda tough on female characters.

Qianyue is really feral when ML Changfeng first meets her. Not a child but childlike in her innocence and naivety. So I will often , often watch the hug at the end of ep. 4. And she finds her humanness, I am moved in ep.18 when she brandishes the pair of scissors. Both women have hearts that care for others and are smarter that they are allowed to be shown. For the Marquis and the Princess, ep. 21.

Which episode did you stop watching. Both female characters tend to fawn over their male loves and may seem too childish or too girlish, and so it may appeal more to men. Both are loved fiercely in their own way by their men. It becomes more apparent later on.
I think that many who watched the first episode thought it would be about a kick ass female lead, but it was really two love stories about two beauties winning the hearts and taming their chosen beasts.

Is this the 2023 one with Rain Lu? Which episode did you drop it? Was it because of the last two episodes? I started it but dropped it quickly. But I loved her Butterflied Lover and also Perfect Mismatch.

I'm not to sure about being docile. Nobody controls her if she doesn't want it, I think. But the writers have decided to write her character as such in contrast to the very active Douzi.

Are you talking about 37:45 in ep. 19 where Xingshi is wearing the emperor clothes? Right after that the real Mei Yushan has blood on her mouth. I think that maybe the prophecy will be incomplete.

I don't think there is a problem. I don't know what Korean word was used, but it was translated as toddler in English, which besides not being the best at translation, could be as low as one and up to 3-4 years old. I think of toddler as someone barely walking. She could be at the low end of the class and he at the high end. Why do you think they mentioned Chief Jung's toddler son? If not Joon Woo, is there a candidate that fills that role? What would he bring to the equation that Joon Woo doesn't? A love quadrangle? I guess we should wait for further developments. There are enough twists to subvert our expectations. Thank you.

I thought that, too. But his Mother could have re-married or reverted to her maiden name. But it also makes sense that Joon Woo would be his son. Why mentioned that Chief Jung left a toddler son, if not as a clue. And there is no other candidate and only four episodes left.

I think that we have met Chief Jung's son.

I think that his time jumps to the door and his current jumps to Da Hae were involuntary. In ep. 7, he made the comment that he jumps every time he closes his eyes. I think he also felt that saving his friend would end that cycle. We just saw his repeated attempts and assumed they were deliberate. just my thinking.

Late to the party, but both Lu Yan and Dengdeng intended to sacrifice themselves to save each other. Lu Yan did it first and we are shown him dying with the caution that it would be permanent. Not clearly shown was that his assistant with the glasses, who was nearby sacrificed himself so that Lu Yan could come back. I've remember someone saying that after rebirth, he could enjoy life (without the burden of being beholden to Yun Xi.) Hence the apparent memory loss. I think that when Dengdeng approaches him as hinted in the last scene, it is as man and women rather than goddess and human. When we see Lu Yan at the end, there is a pair of barely visible eyeglasses hanging from his vest. That is the sign that his assistant sacrificed his life for him. So HE for those who desperately wish one.

Rear ending the truck right after the turn makes it impossible or very difficult to get physical evidence from the front of his car that he hit the couple. The newlywed husband apparently hasn't been seen, yet. The three kids are 1. Yang Jaeyoun, CEO's son. 2. Deputy Commissioner Pyo Myunghak's son, Pyo Junwook and 3. Kyungsoo, who dropped out and became an alcoholic. Apparently he was the hit and run victim. Myunghak seems to have a negative relationship with Lt Min.
