Every other week I watch this movie and it is just so good! I wish they would have ended up together but perhaps it wouldn't be very realistic if they did.
I am really struggling to finish episode 2 of this one, but it has such a high rating (especially in MDL that means it is a cinematic masterpiece) but I am really struggling. I will put it on hold for now
Theres a reason why the good jbls are max 8 episodes long, to avoid this meandering that this series is doing. So far it's been 10 episodes of nothing (well, except the good food)
I finished the drama because I don't like dropping, but so many bits didn't make sense to me. One biggie is Bok Joo's reaction when Dr. Jung came to see her match. It doesn't make sense to me how this would make her so lethargic yet the Dr. seemed genuinely happy that she won. Felt like overkill - throwing in angst to pad the runtime in order to fill 16 episodes...
The first Korean movie I ever watched. When I discovered this gem I used to watch it every weekend!! Maybe I should watch it again to see if it still holds up...
I'm so glad I waited for it to end and binged. This is definitely one of the best kdramas I've ever watched. Also (besides Kang Ho) I loved Sam Sik! He was in love with Minju but he didn't go overboard with it like you see in other series, he didn't try to actively sabotage them or get rid of Kang Ho, he was just waiting his turn. More of that please...
Brilliant story overall, captivating from beginning to end.
This show is so brilliant, I almost don't want it to end...
