The writer's and producers all sat down after they were done and were like "Wow! Masterpiece! No Notes.." without shame? They took forever to get to the point and when they do they go like guess what haha open ending...SMH. Wasted the actors chemistry
I'm not satisfied with the ending. I wanted present day Taemu and Sena to SUFFER!!! Also the ending felt rushed. They could have added one more episode just to close the plot holes...
This series was BRILLIANT! The range that these boys have is a delight to see. I wish it had more episodes but I feel like they wrapped it up pretty nicely, leaving the door open for a season 2. I hope we get one but I won't be mad if we don't
i put the spoiler tag because I am going to explain everything I have understood up to episode 7
Ken and Din are lovers. One day they were together in a temple in the woods when Din gets called away for work. Upon reaching the place Din discovers that his colleagues (?) are doing some shady stuff so he decides to record it. but oops, his recording equipment becomes discovered. He bolts out of there being chased by creepy laugh guy and his goons and hides the recording along the way in a pile of rocks. He rushes back to where he left Ken but Ken wasnt waiting for him. Ken unfortunately went out to look for Din because he was worried but he runs into creepy laugh guy. So creepy laugh guy captures ken to lure Din out. it works. So Din desperate to save Ken ends up backing them to the edge of the cliff where he is cornered by creepy laugh guy (he might be a cop or in some kind of law enforcement/govt position. Not Sure) and his goons. So in the midst of the kerfuffle Din gets shot, but not by creepy laugh guy, he was shot by creepy laugh guy's boss the chief, lets call him the pirate. So they fall off the edge of the cliff and Din is presumed dead though they never found the body.
So fast forward 2 years. Everyone believes Din is dead except Ken and his close friends. He is now living in China (?) running a restaurant with his Dad. One day he jumps in to save someone being attacked on the street and while he is successful, it makes him a target for some local gang. They proceed to attack him but he ends up getting saved by a masked savior. Now the identity of this masked savior is still a mystery as of episode 7.
Before I delve deeper, there is another dude who comes into the mix, his name is Mr. Lu. Mr. Lu is crushing on Ken hard but ken obvi is still hung up on Din because he believes he is still alive. Now Mr. Lu keeps showing up where Ken is and has also saved him a few times which makes me think maybe Mr. Lu is the masked savior but there is one episode where the masked savior is wearing a necklace that was given to Din on that day they were at the temple. So it is anyone's guess who is behind that mask. Also there are discussions saying that Mr. Lu might be Din after plastic surgery but again, that is anyone's guess.
Okay back to the story. So one day they get word that Din's body has been found back in Thailand. Against everyone's advice, Ken flies back to attend the funeral which is dangerous because creepy laugh guy and the pirate want to kill him (he is a potential witness to the murder). As of now he is still in Thailand and guess who is there too (coincidence?) Mr. Lu is also there. And he is staying in the room right beside Ken's. Will something happen? I wish hehehe
Hopefully I didn't spoil too much and you can still appreciate the series later.
