when will rom com dramas drop the 'lost childhood first love' trope, i literally roll my eyes everytime they have to connect the main leads back to when they were kids and on top of that, make them each other's crush.. like do you not get tired smh
when gwi nam climbed the pipe to get to the rooftop, did nam-ra not sense him? like she has heightened senses too so wouldn't she be able to smell him coming closer?
this is not the kind of kdrama that you could binge watch, or clock mentally out of mid-way.
this drama demands submersion. it demands full attention and after thoughts. i cried multiple times watching this, and it was equally difficult for me to watch, so much so that i even considered dropping it.
but im glad i did not. this is the kind of drama that teaches you a lot more than fast action scenes and cheap love stories. every love or hate relationship is meaningful amd unique. 8.5/10 for me. definitely recommend this to everyone
i feel like the only reason the plot didn't feel strong enough was because of the length of the movie, it was just too short, but in spite of that jong seo literally stole my heart
Is this very angst-y and does it have a happy ending? I'm not in the mood to be depressed.
describing it as just happy or sad is not doing it justice.. it's more of a raw series that feels really close to the heart because of how real it is. it did make me cry sometimes and i also laughed too so it cancels out. definitely give it a try cause it's worth watching.
this feels more like a vertical drama, for ex, the level of toxicity, lack of slow burn and getting straight into making out like it means nothing... the description made the expectations way too high.
