About what really happened to Naksu's family. I'm not super clear on this either. We are told that Naksu's father was a constellation recorder mage and he was executed by the four powerful Daeho F4 families. I'm not quite sure why. There is a lot of speculation in this area. Some are saying perhaps because Naksu's father being the constellation recorder mage knew about the true birth of Jang Uk and his destiny as the future king and hence Naksu's father was executed to keep this a secret. I personally don't buy this because that seems really extreme and very out of character for people like Jang Kang, Park Jin and Heo Yeom.
Another explanation is Naksu's father was perhaps "running wild" (which would mean he was a soul shifter?) and he killed his family and hence was executed by the four families.

About who is Mu Deok - No explanations given yet who she is. We are made to believe that she was just some random woman who happened to be at the right place at the right time when Naksu was looking for a body to soul shift to. Now 6 episodes in, there is very strong speculation almost universally that Mu Deok could be the long lost eldest Jin daughter. We just don't know yet for sure.

About Uk really being the King's son. This one really baffles me, because he is conceived by Jang Kang's body in which the King's soul resides. For me DNA and conceiving a child is pure biology. P.S. The actor that plays Jang Kang is listed as "Guest Role" for Ep 1 and 2. That's all, which tells me that he is not going to be brought back in any future episodes. I'm thinking his role in the show is done.
