I don't think it is a bug. I read that a lot of people have accused this drama of Cultural appropriation and plagiarism from Chinese Wuxia/Xianxia dramas like "Ever Night" and are actively lobbying to boycott this drama and rating it negatively. Of course I hope I'm wrong and that it truly is a bug because this is a gem of a drama and so much better than the lousy 7.1 rating that it is currently carrying.
