To each their own. But, I respectfully disagree. I don’t see why this would be a problem. I have worked for…
Of course anyone and everyone has rights. You can and should have the right to love anyone you wish to. But this is not just about rights, its also about propriety. Most companies I know have very clear and unambiguous HR policies where it is totally unacceptable for any two people that have a direct or indirect superior/subordinate dynamic to be in a relationship. It's not about rights. It's not about "to each his own". These are unambiguous HR policies. Again not talking about coworkers. Coworkers can be in a relationship as long as there is no direct or indirect superior subordinate dynamic. And coming back to rights, any and every adult is welcome to pursue any relationship with another adult, but that is not a license to violate workplace HR policies in the name of rights. People can find acceptable workarounds either by quitting or by getting out of the reporting chain so that the superior subordinate link is broken.
It may vary based on the country's cultures. But it's not really a problem because they are around same age here.…
I have no problem with age. As long as both people are consenting adults, in my mind age has nothing to do with it. The problem is subordinate/superior at a workplace having a romantic/sexual relationship. Most companies have strict HR policies that such relationship are unacceptable and violation of company policy. It's not just CEO but any relationship between two people in a company that have a direct or indirect subordinate/superior dynamic is unacceptable. Relationship between coworkers is fine as long as they don't have a direct or indirect superior/subordinate relationship.
To each their own. But, I respectfully disagree. I don’t see why this would be a problem. I have worked for…
Not sure which country you are from and the workplace culture around where you are from, but in most places of business here in the US employees who have a direct or indirect reporting relationship to each other are prohibited from dating or having a sexual relationship. There is also the question of "consent". The term “consensual” is a misnomer from a workplace compliance standpoint. A subordinate employee cannot really truly give full consent to a dating / sexual relationship with any CEO in any organization. Their subordinate status from a compliance standpoint prevents the employee from giving true consent to a dating / sexual relationship with their CEO. That, in plain terms, is a clear example of workplace harassment and automatic liability for the company opening the floodgates of lawsuits.
I am thoroughly enjoying this show and I know this is a work of fiction, but I find it highly inappropriate for a President of a company to date one of his/her subordinate. I'm not a lawyer so can't speak to legalities but I can think of a lot of ethical issues concerns with this in the real world. Highly inappropriate. Oh well. But still loving the show. LOL.
You guys I have to confess I did not like this UpVel thing at all. Why can't they just give us a second season or even like just a special episode. So sad right now.
OMG I'm watching Episode 7 of Enchanté. Does Theo actually say I didn't get to taste your sausage? Oh my! It's getting hot in here. I'm really enjoying Enchanté. I know it doesn't seem to be super popular amongst the masses, but it's fun. LOL.
