Yeah the first couple of episodes of the Untamed were very hard to get into. It took me a good 10 episodes to finally get into it. I'm surprised I stuck with it. I know I actually almost gave up. Glad I did not.

I think the current Douban rating for Word of Honor is 8.6, which is like a otherworldly almost celestial level rating. It is a pretty darn BIG deal. Even The Untamed does not have a rating anywhere near 8.6. I think it is in the 7s.

There are absolutely no similarities to The Untamed. The genres are different. The Untamed is fantasy/Xianxia while WOH is Wuxia. Also no similarity in the stories whatsoever at all.
