I see. I can understand how watching with subtitles can be less than ideal. For me, I don't understand any of the East Asian or Southeast Asian languages, so I watch with subtitles and have gotten used to subtitles now. It doesn't bother me one bit. I see all types of shows - Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai and some Filipino. To quote the great Bong Joon-ho the acclaimed Oscar winning Director of Parasite once said - "Once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films."
